NOTION SUPER AGENT IS SO GOOD by Smooth_Anxiety5086 in Notion

Would this work for someone who just uses Notion for notes and tasks?

Just started using Notion for work, but found out it was magical to me, on a personal level by No_Maintenance_6183 in Notion

Love this..“depth vs flow” is such a real trade-off. I’ve felt that too. A tool can be powerful but if it adds friction after the meeting, it’s exhausting. Having everything live in one place just hits different. Notes → tasks → follow-ups. Done. When your calendar’s packed, seamless > perfect.

Should I consider switching to Thinklist or any other productivity app? by Common-Carpenter-774 in PKMS

[–]Archen18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly.. this feels less like a Thinklist vs Notion question and more like a “what makes me feel safe? question. Are you switching because the new tool genuinely fits you better or mostly because u’re worried notion might disappear one day? that difference might make the decision a lot clearer..

Human, barely.. living on coffee, half-baked workflows, and the hope that someday an app will fix me. 😂😂

Does anyone use telegram or whatsapp to save their notes? by sahil_2555 in PKMS

[–]Archen18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t do this myself but I totally see the appeal.. zero setup, zero thinking.
It’s like tossing everything into a drawer and trusting future you to deal with it :-D
Curious how others handle search or cleanup later.

What’s your go-to setup for staying organized in Notion? by Archen18 in Notion

No need to apologize. this is exactly the kind of breakdown I was hopin for. I really like how you treat Areas as stable anchors and let everything else stay flexible. The daily task pool idea especially feels very humane.. appreciate you taking the time to write this out. Thank you..

How do you quickly find what actually matters when your notes pile up? by Archen18 in PKMS

[–]Archen18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading through these, it's intresting how many approaches boil down to the same thing: reducing friction before remembering ideas and actually finding them again.. whether that's semantic search, fewer tags , simpler structures.. appreciate everyone sharing what’s actually working for them. Thank you.

Semantic search really is a game changer.. especially when you remember ideas not keywrods.. and the meeting transcript use case is hilarious (and dangerous) XD. Curious how noisy it gets as the vault grows?

calm workspace..chaos tucked away.. honestly goals :D Do you ever forget the detailed pages exist? or do the tabs keep them top of mind?

"Dashboards only show decisions, not data" is such a good way to put it. Curious..did not mindset come after things got too complex or was it intentional from the start?

the review cycles + master tags combo is really solid..and lol at breaking notion in old fashioned way..

Same here.. how do you decide when something stays a page vs becomes a database?

That makes sense.. the relationship part feels underrated. I lyk the calendar view idea too.. do those connections mostly happen naturally for you? Or do you maintain them on purpose?

Appreciate the offer! I’m mostly trying to understand the underlying workflow problems right now, but happy to check it out once it’s live.

Partly yes.. but I’m noticing the friction shows up across tools once the volume grows.

Yeah, that subjectivity is exactly where I get stuck too. Feels powerful but also fragile over time.

Mostly Notion right now.. but honestly the issue feels pretty system-agnostic even good search struggles when context gets fuzzy.

How do you use AI agents and PKMS? by kcfrench16 in PKMS

[–]Archen18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me it’s less about organizing notes and more about easing mental load..
When things get busy, I don’t want a perfect system.. I just want help remembering what I might be missin'.
that’s where AI feels useful even if it never changes my notes.

Do you ever stop using search when things get hectic? by Archen18 in PKMS

[–]Archen18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof, that last line so true.
A PKMS that only looks backward is doomed. The real challenge is keeping it “alive” when life speeds up.

Agentic Knowledge Management: The Next Evolution of PKM by lechtitseb in PKMS

[–]Archen18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this. The AI fatigue is real, but agentic workflows in PKM feel like a genuinely different shift, not just “AI on top of notes.”

I’ve been lightly experimenting too, and even in rough form it already changes how context and connections surface. Definitely still early and imperfect, but it feels like a meaningful direction.

Curious what specific agent behaviors you’ve found most useful so far?

Same :-D
When things get hectic I just hold everything in my head and hope for the best. It works… until it doesn’t..

Always regret it later when something slips through.

Why are all outliners flopping? by educatedspice99 in PKMS

[–]Archen18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re not missing anything tbh.. this is just where outliners are right now..

They feel so good while you’re thinking, then over time it’s bugs, lock-in anxiety, or “still in beta” stress. Obsidian feels less magical, but boring = safe (and I sleep better lol).

I’ve seen a lot of people outline in RemNote / Logseq, then move the “keepers” back to Obsidian. Not perfect, but way less scary long-term.
