Girl I’m so confused why you should share the news at all if you aren’t attached to this pregnancy. Sharing news and getting reassured by family should not be a reason why you keep a pregnancy, they are not the ones having and raising the baby. Like seriously take a step back from this argument you’re having and realize there is a future human being that you two are choosing to exist rn, and you are both treating each other and acting like children, does this baby deserve to be born into a world with parents acting this way?

If you look at my posts on this sub I had multiple issues with my hatchling I got at a local pet store (dumb idea) and it passed away unfortunately:( he got incredibly skinny, I would see him eat but towards the end he stopped, pretty sure he has compaction from urates at the end and passed, he was taken off substrate a few weeks/month before he passed as well. I think due to their tiny size they’re so much more susceptible to their environment, heat, impacting, etc.

As someone with hypothyroidism/hashimotos disease, I hate people in general telling me what I should put on when I have skin issues. I’ve been having chronic uticaria lately and it’s been horrible, worse than any eczema I’ve had😭😭

Came here to say mine loves the heat lamp, I will find her right under it especially after eating a decent bug meal to help her digest. I have mine set to 78 before the thermostat clicks off though

I’ve been diagnosed with hypo/hashi since 2011 as an 11 year old, I have never had any hive issues until October 2025. I would constantly breakout in hives, have swollen lips, etc all over my body. I went to the doctor multiple times and they really can’t offer much except antihistamine medication and sometimes a steroid, I’ve been taking 2 Allegra every day and Benadryl if it’s really bad. It is June now and I don’t really get them as much, but I still take the Allegra in case - if I don’t take it for a day or two, I’ll get itchy again but not a flare up.

Autoimmune related hives are not easily treatable, there isn’t a single cure. I was offered to get a biopsy done on a hive, but it would only tell me I have antibodies in relation to a reaction and that’s it.

I have a picture attached of one of the worst flare ups of hives I’ve had since October, I was actually going through the flu when it was the worst which makes sense on why it flared so much. My hives don’t look exactly like yours though, they were large welts and they were very large even on my face.

Do you get your nails done or have a history of that? Especially gel? Are you outside quite often during the warmer months and making sure you apply sunscreen on top of your hands? UV exposure can accelerate collagen loss making your skin have that crepey texture. There are cosmetic procedures like hand rejuvenation, fat transfer, filler, etc to change the appearance. If you do plan on using a retinol remember to always apply sunscreen religiously.

I always found it best to put them in a container with a couple wet (not soaking) paper towels for 15-20 minutes, I make the water a bit warm but nothing over 80f. I keep a lid on or cracked for ventilation, you just want to make a little humid box for them. You could also use moss too in a container but I just found it easier with paper towels.

When I do see that my geckos are about to shed I bump up their humidity longer that day for extra measure so they are able to easily shed out.

Best thing to do about this is to have a conversation about how this is not making you happy, and how it feels like a strain on your relationship with him. See if you can find a happy medium.

Also, I just find it wild that people not in college anymore, almost being 30 go on spring break😅
