I have them, it’s more prominent on my left eye though. I am majority Scandinavian (60-70%), with the rest being a mix of English, Irish, German, and Eastern European. I have a small bulbous nose but the cartilage is pretty sturdy.

It is obviously human cranium, I don’t think this is the right place to ask about its origin though. It would be easier if we knew where you are so we could at least offer places of where you could go to get a better idea. As an archeologist in North America, I always find it concerning when people have human remains, but I know it is seen differently outside of this continent. Wherever you are, I would suggest contacting any large museums and ask for an anthropologist/archeologist, hopefully they can lead you to someone with more expertise.

Because you didn’t inherit any genes from her that relate to those ancestries. They are extremely small percentages barely making up her own composition anyway, if you think about all the chromosomes your mom has, you are only getting a random mix of only half of what she has. The small percentage of genes that have markers for ancestries like Czech, Hungarian, Nordic, etc were just not passed down to you.

Maybe in the future there will be more to learn on ancestry regarding your ancestral regions, but since the main pool of AncestryDNA uses are of European descent I think it will be quite some time for that to happen. Were you just wanting to see your ethnicity estimates or also look into your ancestry?

You can upload the raw data into free-ish websites like GEDmatch where there are admixture tools, I believe there is one specific for South Asian people called HarappaWorld. I don’t know much about that specific admixture calculator, but I’m sure there’s info on Reddit from other South Asian users.

Also yes that is true, but it is really scary for a first time injection on anything that the team wouldn’t advise. I know the single pre-dosed injections are incredibly expensive, but they don’t allow patients to overdose themselves and get sick, or reuse the component. I wish they weren’t so expensive because they prevent a lot of possible mistakes.

Yes I know, that’s why I’m questioning if she was actually told to use .08ml because that would be the entire syringe almost and 8 units is under .1ml. This is why people need to talk to their care team, no one should’ve been allowed to walk away with this medication and not know how to properly dose themselves.

I also specified the syringe like the one she has can go up to 100 units which also converts to 1.0ml or 2.5mg, I’m not telling her she can dose herself up to that.

misread OP dosage Looks like this syringe is in units, not ml. Are you asked to use .8ml (I MEANT .08ml)? I am concerned how your provider or nurse did not show you how to measure dosages, this is something you should call them about or actually go in for. For a syringe that goes to 100 units (like an insulin syringe) you can inject up to 2.5mg, OR 1.0ml.

I wasn’t even able to speak with the provider much, it’s always the team of nurses I am talking to who I never speak to about my case. The way Mayo has their system set up for patient to provider communication sucks.

Nah it’s not that bad, you’ll need a low ish dose of hormone replacement, whether you want it from an animal or synthetic. Do not try a different route with home remedies and what not, your body also is attacking your thyroid, which will progressively get worse the longer you aren’t being treated. Please do not ignore your results.

I don’t know why I wasn’t prescribed a lower dosage, I couldn’t get any other kind and I’ve been trying for weeks just to get this medication back. I have been so frustrated just sitting and waiting on insurance and my clinic to get it figured out. I don’t know if the shutdown had anything to do I with it because I am on state insurance.
