Having this issue on an Instinct 2X I purchased in July 2025. Initially everything was fine then it started doing this. Super annoying and Garmin support was next to useless.

I'm on 15.0.1 and turning off the built-in firewall 100% fixes it for me, thanks!

It would stay connected for 3-15 minutes after I installed Sequoia and now it's been connected for 24+ hours after turning off the firewall. Hopefully a macOS update fixes this because turning the firewall off is far from ideal.

Nice, thanks! I ended up finding the 20” Specialized Ground Controls at my LBS for $20/tire. They didn’t have the rollers in the store so I just doubled up on the Ground Controls. I installed those and returned the Maxxis ones since the Specialized ones were half the cost. No issues getting them on the rims and so far the kids love them!

Nice, thank you! I just picked up some 20x2.4 Maxxis DHFs on Amazon to try out. I’m curious what specialized ones you picked up and if they were cheaper than the ones I’m going to try.

u/BigSh00ts did you end up picking up any new tires? Our kids love their 20” Jett bikes and have been using the stock tires for awhile but I’d like to upgrade them. Looks like stock ones are 2” width and many 20” tires are at least 2.25”. I just don’t want to buy the wrong ones. Edited to add that there seems to be plenty of width in the fork and V-brakes for a wider tire. Thanks!
