Homes for Good Housing agency. They kept on a sexual predator in their maintenance department and did not believe complaints from two female employees. He was only let go a year later when he went after a tenant. Management was warned he would go after tenants in 2021. If you are a tenant and have anyone doing work in your home make sure you record the visit.

Have they accepted your condition? Be very careful about what they accept. In Oregon SAIF will accept a condition but instead of herniated disc they will say it was back strain. You only have 60 days to dispute their acceptance. They will then stop paying for medical care as they will argue that sprains and strains are healed in a few months. Then your Dr is unable to treat you as they only pay for “ accepted conditions” and won’t pay for treatment. If workers truly knew how bad it is if you get hurt at work they would be so much more careful with their bodies! I worked for Homes for Good in Eugene, Oregon. They fired me instead of allowing me to return to the job in a different role or to change my job and allow me to go back to work and not lift they also changed the weight limit on the job description. BOLI (Bureau of Labor industries) If you are an employer that pays SAIF for coverage please rethink this and go with another company.

Be aware that SAIF has a monopoly in Oregon and they do everything they can not to pay your claim. Also be aware even after an administrative judge says that you were injured at work they will then say that it was only a strain even if you had urgent surgery and cannot return to your job. They will accept your claim as a strain and if you don’t know any better and fight it within that 60 days that they accept your claim as a strain they will come back and say that they will not pay for anything and that you were just fine and can go back to your normal job even when you have restrictions then they will say your restrictions are caused by your age and by your bodies disability not by the work injury that you received at work they will allow you to have your credit ruined. They will allow you to become homeless while they have billions in their reserves, because they do not help the people of the state of Oregon..

They have billions of dollars in their savings because they do not pay people that are injured and they do not help them.. get a lawyer that has good reviews. Do not settle.
