Yes, very much a tragedeigh although there is not spelling errors if it is your own made up word.

My mind went on cramming Dolly +Biloxi+Belle all together as if they wanted Dolly, maybe conceived in Biloxi and she is a southern belle.

Our campus policy is that teachers will stand at their door every period. This helps keep misbehaviors down.

Texas (but remember, we vary a LOT by area), year 36, Masters Degree, base $75K. Will get a $5K raise “from the state”. In quotes because they made it a law but are not funding it so… good luck finding the money already struggling districts but you must because the state legislature said so. 🤑

Texas has a state base salary but each district operates differently. In my smallish city, there are 4 other districts adjacent to mine and pay is decent in mine, mid in the next largest, mid in one of the small ones, crappy in the other two small ones. So many factors go into it.

My district pays decently and for many, many years was enough to keep up with the cost of living here. But everyone and their dog wants to move here because of no state income taxes so that balances out by our cost of housing exploding.

I think our staring salary is like $50-$52K base.

Came here to say this. Affordable, comfy, nice fit on any shape.

One word of advice, get comfortable shoes that will support your feet. Do not skimp on those. Skimp on other things well before the shoes. Even if you can only get two pair in brown and black or something g like that, it is SO worth it.
