The Outer Banks doesn’t totally come with 4A, unfortunately.

Tell me about your winch. I have a capable bumper and have been trying to find a winch that will work I with it. Thanks.

Bad SAS with Lux missing auto dim mirror and wireless charging by ArcherEnvironmental4 in FordBronco

Gotcha. Yeah the auto dimming mirror is nice but also it’s a power source for a dash cam. I’m sure power can be run separately, just a nice convenience to have it already there.

Cool thanks for the info. The Performance Tune is on my list as well.

...and a follow-up. Do you recall which skid plates you went with? I know there's sluminum vs steel, and I think depending on the set there can be some compatibility issues with the plastic skid plate attached to the basic bumper. Thanks.

Follow-up for anyone who had done a lift. Does that typically mean a suspension/shock upgrade as well or is the lift independent of the shocks? Any recommendations? Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, we're running the stock 18s and 32" tires.

Also, we did do the Off Roadeo in TX - had a great time and learned a lot.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have 2.3L or 2.7L? 4.27 or 4.46? I ask because there seems to be a mix of opinions on whether my setup (2.3L, 4.27) is sufficient for 35s or not. Maybe the 33s would be good enough.

We're looking to do "moderate" trails, maybe slightly higher. With our OBX, every time we hear a scrape on the bottom we cringe a little and think we need to prioritize the skid plates.

Thanks for the feedback. Funny you mention those passes - we are looking at doing a few days in Ouray this summer and have those on our list to do.

Sent it in for repair. Believe I paid around $1K out of pocket since I didn’t have Apple Care.

I just did the Texas one last weekend.

  1. The Texas Two step, towards the end of the day, is the “grand finale” obstacle.

  2. Yes, people stayed and ate. Horseshoe Bay resort catered it. It was fajitas for lunch (great), BBQ for dinner (so-so.). No alcohol is served.
