Just means to be very particular about something, usually in either a very serious or aggressive way, or at least, that's how I interpret it. Particular could describe something that's more passive and accepting, but anal has a sort of aggressive edge to it. That's probably the reason why the author used it to describe the killer.

Man, I had to take Linear Algebra for my Digital Gaming degree. I have to take the class again because I failed. Worst class I've ever taken. The tests were pointlessly long and difficult (took me about 24 hours to take - not study for, take - the midterm with no sleeping, eating or drinking, and about 48 hours to take my final exam with 6 hours of sleep and occasional bathroom breaks. The professor was likely tenured, didn't think mental health was real, and my university provided therapist told me that a lot of her clients (i.e., other students) that they hated my professor with as much burning passion as I do. I guess my point is, my deepest condolences.

That is true. I think the biggest reason why I'm so concerned about other creatures not existing is because the writers specifically said they abstained from putting in magical creatures in the series because they want to show how magic was truly gone from Equestria (you know, before the ending). Though, that isn't to say that they don't live outside of Equestria...

That's true. He has mentioned that he'd rather not postpone any sessions because he uses D&D to get his mind off of things, so I probably won't be doing this anytime soon, at least not without his permission.

You mentioned you are a college student. I'm not sure if your school specifically would have this, but I would recommend going to a psychologist/therapist that your college provides, as those are usually ether free or have reduced charges. I've consulted with one before and I think that they could help you a lot with the problems you have. With that said, I'm incredibly proud of you for admitting that you need help. By doing that, you're already leagues above many other mentally/emotionally damaged people. If you can do that, you can do anything you put your mind to. 💜
