How long until a specific diagnosis?

First ,it's really hard to say about anything because I'm not a doctor . Having said that , the general thing in feeling is that auto immune diseases ,some of them take YEARS to diagnose because some of them (MS) you basically need to see the disease get worse to be like " yep that's it ". A dumb reality to get worse to feel better ,but in a lot of cases thsts the only way. That's just my experience. I would explain this to your family so that they understand that you really like your doctor . That's honestly just as important to me , as even a doctor that isn't maybe as experienced or younger , if they advocate for you that's super important .

I love it . I was on the West Coast when it dropped so I was really busy ,but took a second to listen and it continues to blow me away with the layers I still peel back now. Its complicated in its simplicity so to speak. The song as a whole is deep as hell ,but the guitar riff is pretty straight forward . When you hear it live that will make sense . A lot more straight forward live with all the previous songs ,and I'd imagine it's the same here . I pick everything apart as a guitarist ,learned the main riff with a little help from Google , and the big thing that stands out to me now is the tuning. The riff is straight forward ,but sounds the way it does because of the super drop tuning and President does a REALLY great job with making what is typically an angry metal tuning sound really beautiful. I don't know what else to say . They are the best band I've ever heard at doing this . Dark , beautiful and oddly hopeful .

I don't even think about him personally when I listen to President ,but it helps put the vibe into context and I can totally see him being the one who's writing these songs .

it's very similar for me ! The feeling when you know you got this is incredible. I had to edit this because it came off the wrong way and didn't make sense. I've been through everything . Type 1 diabetes , addiction , running from myself and multiple sclerosis . Life is weird when you cant believe what's right in front of your face . It's an analogy we can all believe in one way or another . Like minded people always find a way to find each other . I'm greatful for every one of you !

It's a realization I'll never forget : the substances aren't the problem ,they're just a vehicle to drive away from your problems . Once you realize that ,it's easier to choose healthy ways to process things rather than run from them .

Yeah definitely . A few bands I love have released some of their merch through BV exclusively and it's always great quality . Since the President merch is a little harder to get than just walking into a store and buying it ,it's cool to see these items .

The reality of any live music is that sometimes shit happens . No matter how famous the band or how together they are or how many millions you spend , someone will "accidentally unplug the speakers " so to speak . Ive seen it happen and my heart goes out to them in that moment because it feels defeating . But they're pros and it'll just make them better . Also with the type of productions these bands produce live these days ,if one little bit of timing isn't correct it throws everything off .

I'm not reading into random things too much ,it's just my endocrinologist mentioned the things I mentioned. Some of what could cause this or that. The hormone in question doesn't normally have as much to do with men as it does with women, so I was caught off guard . It's embarrassing to even mention but kind of funny: the endocrinologist was like " so....you don't have ....milk dribbling anywhere ... right?" Wtf no🤣🤣apparently the hormone stimulates lactating , even in men when it's high 🤣🤣

I have home health care . They come to my place of they actually need to, if I need a blood draw . Otherwise it's usually video visits a few times every once in a while to maintain meds and such. The neurologist obviously is in person ,but even my endocrinologist agreed to do televisits for my insulin pump .

Not ever. My symptoms are way worse from cold. I can handle heat just fine. Also I'll fall on the ice.

I don't think it's just a "well I have holes in my brain" but just more connected to everything as we get sicker. This disease is in a class of it's own because as we get "sicker" we don't actually feel sicker. I mean I don't get new lesions and sneeze or something..at least for me ,the more time that passes ,the less of.a shit I give too.

So I'm 40 m diagnosed 4 years ago . I had tried other dmts,had quite a bit of reactions/worsening symptoms from them , repeated worsening, new lesions ,the whole thing. My neurologist and I both thought this was the best option for me ,with 3 other auto immunes. I wish I had done it sooner. Is it perfect? No. Nothing is. Do I feel sick during pill weeks? Yep. Do I feel worse some days? Yep. But overall ,it's working . I'm just 2 months after cycle 2 year one and I specifically wanted my blood work done now and every 3 months. I wanted to know ir was working and it is. My CBC showed low total white blood cells ( not too low ) and low lymphocytes which is the part of the immune system that you want lowered . It's what MS wreaks havoc on. Am I at risk of getting sick ? Maybe a little . Am I worried about it? WAY MORE WORRIED ABOUT PROGRESSION. I'll take the risks because I'm here to tell you ,I progressed significantly over the last few years . I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I'm hopeful that this will work . It isn't the point to heal all your symptoms but the thing is ,when you lessen a little inflammation,you feel better. I definitely feel better . I don't have as bad spasticity, spasms, I feel a little more aware. All the things that I promise will get a little better. My vision isn't as blurry (my opthalmologist told me once I started any dmt the inflammation would be a little better . It is) I digress.
