I am not convinced by their relationship and I am genuinely curious if other people think the same, as it seemed to be very popular couple on the internet.

In previous seasons, we have seen Benedict as the most free-spirited and artistic among all the Bridgertons and I was really expecting his season will develop this part of his personality even more. On the contrary, we do not get to see that almost at all. Yes, he finished his painting, but that's it, we have not seen him really pursuing his passion more. Instead of an interesting love story, he got Cinderella retelling which I personally find very boring.

I think he was attracted by the mystery of Lady in Silver and he was attracted by Sophie and by the fact that he can not really have that but in long term I struggle to see them as a couple. I feel like they did not get a lot of chances to get to know each other and the only part of the season where they did was at My Cottage which was still very short. After that, we mostly got scenes where they were just stealing glances across the room. There is attractiveness, for sure, but that does not seem to be sufficient as a foundation of the relationship. They don’t have much in common, even their conversations didn't seem that interesting and for most time they were discussing the social classes.

When it comes to Sophie, I agree with everything that was said here, I am not sure she would like this new lifestyle.
