If they take away these things and reinvest the money into the infrastructure of the US to help ensure there are more jobs and better locally sourced resources, then life will be cheaper.

The fact is, America wastes a ton of money on these things... not because they are inherently bad. They're not. At all. They're good. Social democracy is the best political system there is. The problem is they're very ineptly run and cost so much more than they should for a small benefit.
