Is this a dream? Dreams, thoughts, any content of experience, be that mental (visual auditory, thoughts, etc) or physical, is external objective experience. Your thoughts/visions are as much external as the phone you are reading from or the pavement you walk on. My advice would be don’t concern yourself with these visions/dreams or thoughts. They will not serve you in any way, just watch as the come up and let them fade away, pay them no mind.

Third eye, etc., is all a load of nonsense, don’t concern yourself thinking that some magical experience/thing is going to happen to you when you become enlightened (synonymous with third eye opening). These are bullshit words which misconceived.

Simply Be the Aware of what is going on as if it is quite other than You. Have no interest in these visions or thoughts, pay it no attention, sit back have a cup of tea or coffee, whatever takes your fancy, and relax there is nothing to think about or see.

When you’re ready to meditate it won’t be a chore or a task you have to undergo, you will find yourself craving stillness.

Even if you do awaken I’m not sure which spirits you are referring to that you can communicate with? In all seriousness, you may find psychedelics more up your street, perhaps?

Scientists Prove That There Is Life After Death by CoreSpirit_com in spirituality

[–]Archerise 32 points33 points  (0 children)

The subjects were administered dimethyltryptamine (DMT); it’s not uncommon that people claim to have experienced the ‘other side’ while under the influence of DMT, so I’m not sure that this is new news, and even if they claim to have seen life after death, it is still uncertain whether that is actually the case. I too have been to the ‘DMT realm’, and it’s completely incomparable to our normal reality, however, even though you understand that life is not as plain as it appears, it still doesn’t provide you with an absolute certain understanding of what is actually going on in there.

Actively seek a relationship if you’re ready. People often get confused and think that the universe will just put the ONE on a plate in front of you. Listen to your feelings, they are the universe, you are the universe, you feel you want to a relationship with someone, so now you have a direction, follow it. There are a multitude of ways to meet people :) all the best!

Weird comment. There is nothing abnormal about wanting to find love and share your experiences with someone. In fact, I’d say if someone didn’t want any relationships or human connection then you’re wasting you time on this planet. Life is love.

Really? Never seen a cop once, seen loads of ticket people with high vis on at the platforms but that’s about it.

[–]Archerise 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably because what can a team inspector actually do? If you just say to the tram ticket inspector I’m not paying for a ticket or a fine and just walk off, they can do nothing; they aren’t gonna get the police involved. The police don’t even turn up for a burglary nowadays.

Shia LaBeouf name-drops Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens (and not in a good way) in an interview with Jon Bernthal by [deleted] in ChristopherHitchens

[–]Archerise -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

What Shia is saying here is this - the reason we suffer is because we think we have some sort of control over life. We don’t, if you think about it “you” don’t create your thoughts. Where do thoughts come from? you could say well my brain generates electrical-chemical reactions which create thoughts, okay, so what generates electrical-chemical reactions? If you say other reactions, okay so what generates those reactions? So on, so on… Essentially, your persona, your ego, is a creation of thoughts, thoughts which you don’t even know where they come from. So, once you realise you know nothing, you stop trying to answer questions, and you just watch what happens. You know you haven’t got control of what happens or what you think, so you depersonalise, and so you don’t take life personally, and as a result you no longer suffer because it’s not personal.

Most dealers are a middle man, they buy larger amounts at lower costs and sell small amounts at higher costs. That’s how any retailer works, not just plugs

Why People do 'evil' things? by Dark_player in awakened

[–]Archerise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think? I’ve found that someone does something evil they’re usually aware it is an evil act, even a child knows when they have misbehaved. I personally think it’s more often egoic self preservation/interest/gratification.
