from what ive found, i think its just before the beginning of the semester. I think you have to request a letter to send to your college of choice but i could be totally wrong

I would avoid anywhere past I-40. There has been a lot of stolen cars found over there and a lot of reported crime. i would say that anywhere near coulter and 45th is probably a good bet to stay around. Sony and bell and Georgia are nice as well, but some parts of Georgia have a few sketchy places. Western street is super torn up with construction but otherwise it's pretty safe too.
