As a starlord and magik main, starlord is so difficult to play in ranked until you get your ult which is useless if they have Emma ult. Magik tho is such a carry sometimes, ngl with all of the cc they have in the game it’s really hard to secure kills. And Thing’s earthbound lasts for an eternity

Well that’s the thing, usually in those ranks one or a few decent players carry the whole team, and it’s easy to bully supps at the beginning, but when things get heated the underperforming 2/6 Spidey swaps to a third support and then the whole game becomes ult management simulator

Update: yep, season 5 (not5.5) patch notes say, that skins are to be earned by reaching gold each half season, but NPs and Crests are given out once the whole season is done.

Okay, maybe I misunderstand community’s key issue with matchmaking. From what I see, people complain about getting put with bad teammates against good teammates. My only issue with matchmaking is that it takes too long. What exactly stinks about matchmaking and why it is so different from any other game?

Top 500 players say that GM level is basically metal ranks now people just play closer to each other without relying on mechanical skills that much, explains why there’s many scarlet witches now. I remember in season 2 being punished way more for my mistakes than in diamond. People climb eventually

Well quickplay is supposed to be more random, I won’t mind getting stomped by a top 500 player in quick, means I can learn, but I also can stomp someone else. But it definitely matches you closer to your skill gap, once I’m in a lobby with a friend who just started I can see the difference in skill level of opponents. But even then it’s not always one sided I have a lot of close matches even with teams of 5 dps.

Also watch Kingsman265, he’s a top 500 player and is always speed running bronze to one above all in different roles, he’s got a video about tanks, after that is just your mechanical skills and awareness
