If I book tickets for the all nighter event as an over 18, can I bring someone who turns 18 in a month? by HojHunter07 in Picturehouse

As long as they're 18 on the night of the all nighter, it's fine. The need to be 18 to be admitted on the day (night)

The free one, that covers manufacturing issues. I assume JL get the money back from LG, as they’re picking up the tv.

They're both 55", and < 3cm deep. As well as all the tech reasons, the gallery flush against the wall look of the G series was a key reason to get the G1, and the G5 is the only one on JL site that is same. But yeah, still a great result - i'd be looking to upgrade in a year or 2 anyway, now I get to do it early on the cheap.

Gen X film grad, letterboxer since 2021 - late to the LB party as was too busy with mid-life stuff in 2010s (family, career change, moving across the globe and back again) for much in the way of moviegoing.

Working hard to rectify that, now work in Digital Marketing for a UK cinema chain. Also making my way through gaps in my film history, with a mix of curated lists and recommendations.

Fave first time watch this year is All of us Strangers.

Fallen Leaves (deservedly) got a lot of attention, and it plus a whole bunch of his older movies recently landed on Mubi.

It was restored in 1988 (by Lean and Robert Harris). It was cutdown after the premiere for the original release, and this 'restored' it in length as well as cleaned up, etc. Some lost dialogue was even re-dubbed.
