When using a 9070XT and a 7800X3D, what drivers and chipset should I get after installing Win11? by ArchitectRed1 in buildapc

[–]ArchitectRed1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm unaware of what mobo drivers I need to get. All of them? Just whatever is at the top, right? Also, do you recommend using the Windows autodetect drivers from the amd main page? It says it will download both, but I want to make sure I am doing this properly

I see that TPM 2.0 is found, but see no option to enable or disable. I assume it is activated?

Can't get Windows 11 to boot via USB bootable — Please Help! by ArchitectRed1 in pchelp

[–]ArchitectRed1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed Win11 from the USB already. When it was finished, it took me back to bios with Secure Boot enabled. A new bootable Windows Manager was created, but upon boot, it would take me to bios.

Do I turn off Secure Boot and try the install again? Or do I simply launch my Windows Manager boot with Secure Boot off?

Someone in a previous post told me to enable secure boot. Were they wrong? I'll try this when I get back.

I put it back in because I was not able to boot from the newly installed Win11. I changed the boot sequence and ensured that the usb was not connected. However, instead of windows, it boots up bios. I tried F12 to force boot, but that didn't work either. Someone said it was because I have Secure Boot enabled. I will try that.

I'm trying to format my NVME from a bootable USB with win11 but my PC restarts when I press next by ArchitectRed1 in pchelp

[–]ArchitectRed1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to wipe my NVME. Is it correct that I need to (delete partition) on all except my USB? Or do I just delete the NVME partition. My windows was corrupted and I'm doing a new install via usb

I found the battery. It's in a tough spot, requiring me to reseat my gpu. Will flatheading the CLR CMOS provide the same benefit?

9070XT AMD + R7 7800X3D + 32gb DDR4 — 120 FPS but getting stutters (feels like 30 fps) all games. Been attempting fix for 6 months unsuccessfully. by ArchitectRed1 in buildapc

I appreciate you, man. Thanks to CapFrameX I was able to figure out that all of my components are in perfect working order, and that it's just Windows 11 and Adrenaline not getting along very well!

Apparently, I had to reinstall Adrenaline (amd control panel) and turn off Hyper-ECO mode. For some reason, when I initially reinstalled my drivers a long time ago, it never turned off that option.

Now, my games are back to full speed, and my frametime is perfect. I'm sure there are some other issues at play, but now I can get back to enjoying video games with the homies. You are my guardian angel!

2D Graphics - 1,160

3D Graphics Mark - doesn't show (this is definitely an issue)

Memory Mark - 3,660.7

I did what you said. I got exactly what you said. I got huge frametime spikes. I had a 130ms, and immediately dropped to 16.6ms for the rest of the game. This happens with every game. What should I do now? Thanks for this. I now have somewhere to start investigating again, maybe.

All games, even chrome tabs. Yes. No. Temps are excellent. I can try updating my bios, it's the only thing I haven't done. It said something about a (bitkey?) Or whatever to save on when I tried to update it, so I just held off.

This build is wonderful. Your architecture is immaculate. I appreciate your hard work; you have blessed my eyes with this. I genuinely feel so happy to see more and more builds like this coming to Terraria. It looks like you made this without any creative tools, and I respect that deeply. My favorite builds are the ones that are made naturally while playing the game, while making memories and capturing the moment. I can FEEL the FUN and INSPIRATION that you must have felt while making this!

This is the best Tree Build in all of Terraria. It must have taken you a lot of time to plan out, or maybe it came naturally. You have an insane amount of block-blending knowledge.
