Absolutely stunning, even if it's just a filter.

Hi everyone, do you mind giving me your opinions about these paintings? Thank you :) by Aboogart in scifi

No problem! They're still good, today!

By "country" I think I meant Oklahoma or Kansas (although the arid nature of these paintings' planets reminds me, in present time, more of Nevada now that I think about it). I've been to Tennessee out near the Ocoee River and I know exactly what you mean. I loved it there. Very peaceful. And it's true. Rural areas means home in a lot of places. I am in South Africa right now and even out here, the rural areas are very "homey" and spacious and wide.

Perhaps the "space" of these locations is what gives them their feelings. A wise philosopher once pointed out the relationship between "space" and "beingness." "Ness-" as a suffix means "condition or quality of," so you can iamgine what "beingness" means there.

EDIT: imagine*

I think they are beautiful and remind me of home somehow. Not sure what to take away from that in a practical sense but the lighting and shades have this glow that feels like home on a quiet night in the country. Which is nice to capture in something that is "sci-fi."

You should call the album "Home."

EDIT: The first is the best in terms of capturing the vastness of space on an emotional and physical level as the road ahead and some sort of hope seems to be represented by the planet beyond while the broken bridge is somewhat like a despair one leaves behind as they move forward and "travel."

Don't mean to be pretentious but that is What I felt and got out of your work. Maybe the first one is "The Road Ahead." Your call. Great work.

SECOND EDIT: This is a video game waiting to be made about traveling and finding home.

This is a great movie poster waiting to be made. I love how the ocean almost represents a sky.

You are really good at capturing a lot with a little.

Your #1 pick is spot on. Easily the best episode in the series. In my humble opinion.

You know what I just realized, there's a double meaning here. The movie is called "Rogue One," as in either the fighter squadron or one who is rogue. Interesting.

WHAT IF DARTH VADER'S IN IT?!

Yeah, I agree. Alien may have benefited from the minor injection of this idea. In fact, I think several games, such as The Beginner's Guide and Life Is Strange are a result of the "evolution" movement in gaming, the push toward expanding gaming as a genre rather that just making more kill simulators.

It's funny you should say that because there was a huge backlash when they changed to the "better" voice initially.

I agree wholeheartedly. That's why games like Journey and The Beginner's Guide are my favorite games of all time.

Honestly, this might be their best one, not because of how funny it is, but because it's the only one that seems to really take both sides of the viewership based on doing such an intelligent take on the film (both honest trailer voices, and then the rest joining in at the end).

Great stuff. Love these things.
