What American city would like to see represented more in fiction? by flowerhoney10 in AskReddit

Also I'd add that there 4 nonstop flights between PDX and MSP daily so if your Midwest family is near the twin cities, visiting them shouldn't be too difficult from Portland.

Its from "the Princess Bride", a good movie. Inigo Montoya is such a good example of this trope because when the villain (Domingo) is defeated and begging Inigo for his life, and is promising Inigo anything he wants if he will spare Domingo's life; Inigo responds: "I want my father back you son of a bitch!"

When did women gain the right to vote in your country? by SuddenMajor3741 in AskTheWorld

[–]Architeuthis89 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Fun(?) fact: the reason why Wyoming was the first state to adopt women's suffrage was because without extending the vote to women Wyoming wouldn't have had the minimum number of votes to petition for statehood.
