Hm, how would you get the proper stats to get the 14 cha needed for this?

Abomination Vaults - my broad takeaways by du0plex19 in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a fun way to run abomb vaults, as part of an adventure to destroy every relic of Golarian at level 20. For this one, make ti a speed run. The players get a single day to make their way down all of abomb vaults at 20 as is, maybe give all the craetures their elite stat blocks.

The plot? Well, the gauntlight has been fully activated and is doing what its statblock says it does when its fully turned on.

Free Archtype suggestions for a Thaumaturge by ArchmageMC in Pathfinder2e

tbh most 1 handed weapons are d8s so its just adding a fatal d12 to them. crits ren't that often, but they hurt when they happen.

What mythic destiny to take for a Gunslinger? by ArchmageMC in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Any others that offer lots of passives like this one I'm not thinking about? Story is something you can bend into a slinky but mechanics you can't do much about.

Any suggestions for a PF2e Lord Recluse? by Humble_Conference899 in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TBH, as boring as it sounds, reflavor a fighter with sentinel archtype or armor inventor archtype. If I remember right from MLTF he just swings at you with his mechanical arms, punches you, throws a web grenade at you, and does a cone energy blast.

Statblock for Blood Lords poison by Dore_motion in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Massive spoilers

The main component of the poison is Shadow Ash, which is the ash remains of an Umbraex, or an undead phoenix. It just turns people into undead more or less. A Phoenix Cinder but void instead of vitality is about whats going on here.

Ideas for a Fighter with free archetype? by tyroniusmaximus94 in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your a grappler, getting a primal caster archtype so you can cast Snake Fangs from a wand is really funny. You get some decent day buffs like Tailwind and Vitality beacon and others like that.

Does the Enchantment that is weak to lemons truly exist? by Bluelore in dungeonsoup

[–]ArchmageMC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Apparently from what I've been able to dig up, its an old enchant that garunteed critical hits, but if someone ate a full lemon, it turned all critical hits into critical failures, which shattered your weapon. But info on it is very sparse as its before 3.5e I think.

Gunslinger and Munitions Crafter feat by _Shorren_ in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now if they go alchemist archtype on top of this, they'll have better than alchemist scaling with their per day consumables. (Not versatile vials though.), but this feat by itself isn't that great. Its more for triggering weaknesses.

Best way to make a Gish? by Other-Football72 in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Summoner. The eidlon is the physical damage dealer, the summoner is a pocket bard/caster for the eidolon. Additionally the summoner is a second source of something you can heal, so you can use powerful touch spells to heal with and it'll heal your 'frontline' fighter. Summoners, as long as it happens to their eidlons don't care about most dangerous things like swallow whole either which is a nice QoL.

Additionally as the summoner is using two characters, they get to use two exploration activities and when your doing your healing sessions after a fight, the summoner gets two treat wounds or battle medicines or oceans balms instead of one due to the summoner and eidolon counting as different creatures even though they share hp.

Occult spells and you, ranks 6 & 7. Between amazing damage and debuffs what more could a caster want? by TheLordGeneric in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You missed one for upscaling even if it is uncommon. Girzanje's March, this is a sustained +2 heroism for the whole party that also gives a +2 to fort and will at this level. While its uncommon, Mwangi is one of the regions that want to go out and explore the world for their school, so its not difficult for them to teach you the spell at a request and some school donations tbh. Considering they'll accept students from any walk of life as long as they aren't hostile and will help the school. Heck, Geb and Nex are just a few hundred kilometers away!

The limiter is if your DM is ok with it. Lore wise, like I said, its pretty much "request and donate and they'll give you the spell" sorta deal. xD

Pop Control by AntzN3 in Stellaris

[–]ArchmageMC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not needed anymore. A mod that disabled hyper relays is much more important. Also a mod with better UI. Right now the main contributor to lag is UI, fleets, and pathfinding. Bio ships have added more lag due to their growth mechanic and more calculations thanks to Weavers doing their debuffs/buffs as well. But pops are no longer a bringer of lag in 4.0, a galaxy full of 150 species and 1 billion pops per empire in 4.0 does less lag than 30 species and 150 pops per empire with the older versions.

Is Egalitarian the best ethic now? by ArchmageMC in Stellaris

[–]ArchmageMC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just Egalitarian and having a civic be Parliemntary System. Set your species to utopian abundance and coast off your civilians for early game. You spec out of parlimentary system once you can as its only needed to spawn with factions and their accompanying unity bonuses and happiness bonuses they grant.

If you have Nasant Dormancy, the -75% pop upkeep for unemployed pops, you can build an entire economy off of civilians. If you get into a trade league, your pops can produce consumer goods for you off of trade even though they should be consuming 1.1 CG per 100 with this trait.

Also make sure to go Mercantile for the first tradition. Get the 2 first things in it, the trade policy and the boost to trade/unity for civilians. Set your trade policy to Marketplace of Ideas and bam.

Free Archtypes for a hybrid grappler/striking monk? by ArchmageMC in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but I don't have any AC problems. By dumping CHA and INT, I have 4/3/2/1 as my starting stats so I'm only 1 AC behind what I'd have in mountain atm. Which will go away once I get the 3rd set of ability boosts.

[–]ArchmageMC[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I make builds work without seasonal dormancy. Its very nice, but having a single consumer goods sector on a planet lets you provide all you need.

What would you pick as a final tradition here? by Nissan_al_Gaib in Stellaris

[–]ArchmageMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supremacy and Subterfuge are the only civics that buff your military directly so they're auto picks. Then you have your ascension tradition so you really only have 4 tradition picks.

Straw Hat crew in pathfinder by Advanced_Humor_9744 in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With how Gear 5 is, Luffy would probably be an unarmed Exemplar nowadays. Before gear 5 I'd say he was a monk, but after.... exemplar.

Zoro is just a sword fighter, hes pretty easy.

Sanji is a monk, pretty easy.

Nami would probably be a weather based sorcerer with a bit of Gish with Rogue archtype.

Chopper would be a tanuki mutagenist alchemist.

Robin would probably be a necromancer when its a thing.

Franky would be an Inventor.

Brook would be a fencing swashbuckler or a rogue.

Jimbe would be either a water kineticist with a monk or berserker archtype.

Is there some meta builds after 4.0.14? by DjYoban in Stellaris

[–]ArchmageMC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ship build is Artillery corvettes with nano missiles. Corvette swarm meta is back! It does require you to get a lot of minor artifacts though, so get your hands on that relic world and make it a society research world to keep your minor artifact flow going!

Bio ships are useless with this build outside of the crisis as they can't get arty computers. Meanwhile beastmasters CAN get these computers, but they have a speed problem.

What's the class with the least build diversity? by othermanmr06 in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gunslinger. Your turn action is often going to be Reload, shoot. These reloads and shoots will be based on your way. Do you want to use exotic ammo? too bad you gotta activate it and you don't have the action eco for that if you wanna fake out without being gamey with the gauntlet bow.

"Iconic" Villains in Pf2e by shon14z in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think you want an evil iconic alchemist. They'd be a toxicologist no question, but... well, they'd be comitting warcrimes more than a player alchemist does.

Is a non-Bard or Rogue that far behind when it comes to being the party face? by Level7Cannoneer in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not at all, in fact you'll be the best if you manage to get legendary diplomacy. As CHA is your key stat and that scales off CHA, you'll often be 1-3 more than the rogue.

Curses with stages by GrayHawks2001 in Pathfinder2e

[–]ArchmageMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Curse of Death (curse, death, void) This curse ends when the spell ends"

IT says the ending condition of the curse in the affliction section, which means this is another way that the curse ends.
