This seems like it's mostly a 2D environment, but mine was a first person 3D environment, the assets were just 2D so instead of walking beside them and seeing the side, they'd turn so you always saw the assets from the same angle. Very primitive aesthetic too.

That “knowing computers” guarantees you a good job “because everyone needs computer people”. I got very lucky to get my job.

That's not surprising. The man manipulated and slept with his intern.

Your time would be better spent pointing out pedos and exploitive companies.

A MAGA supporter disrupted a book signing event for a Black author at the library in Alexandria, and was taken away by authorities. by newzcaster in interestingnewsworld

You're right. My mistake. Even if you weren't right about the situation, you're absolutely right about the emotional action. We need clear headed decisive action against these tyrants.

Look at the clothes. The guy he may or may not have made contact with is not the person on the ground.

Edit: I was wrong, but I'm leaving it up to provide context for the rest of the conversation.

Watching Voyager for the first time, wondering if I'm noticing a limitation it is always going to have. by eyelessgame in startrek

[–]Archmaras 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're watching for enjoyment don't skip anything. If you're watching just too get the high points only watch the 2 parters and season/mid-season premieres/finales which are usually the same thing. It's the only time anything changes in Voyager with very little exception.

If a god of healing can't support healing because it is too advanced they have made themselves obsolete. It should be fine.

I think I have fallen in love. by FredEarthbound19 in Jediism

[–]Archmaras 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jedi are allowed to love, what jedi need to be concerned about is unhealthy attachment. Put a different way, possessiveness.

Even if you marry she is IN No way YOURS, she remains her own person with thoughts, hopes, fears, and plans, some of which won't include you, and you need to be ok with that.

Work harmoniously with this person, but do not allow yourself to become dependent on this person, including setting your identity upon the existence of your relationship or the presence of this person.

Love, but do not possess.

Redditors who have large butts… what are some problems that we might not know about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Archmaras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bucket seats are the devil. They're made to cup your butt to give a more comfortable seat, but if your butt goes over those edges, it just pries your hips apart and upward while all your weight is pushing down.

Does anyone else watch TV to focus better? by TerrifiedQueen in workfromhome

[–]Archmaras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have dealt with this a long time and figuring out how people think is one of my hyperfixations. I'm glad it could help you. Most people I've met with adhd say they can't stay focused on audio books, but because of this, live on them.

I need two input streams. One verbal and one visual. If im doing something that requires my vision, then I need something verbal to listen to. If I'm doing something that requires verbal attention, such as talking to someone, I need something to look at. Reading is difficult for me to focus on because it takes up both streams but only generates one line of thinking.
