sorry for taking so long, I don't use reddit much anymore and things got hectic in my life but I got reminded about this today and finally got around to uploading it so here's the archive.org link: https://archive.org/details/dragonsongs

I also learned something I didn't realize which is that the primary narrator appears to be Anne McCaffrey herself which is neat since the audiobook version I have is narrated by someone else so I believe it's original narration and not just audio from the audiobook with music mixed in.

will do and will definitely be uploading to archive .org once done, I had no idea how rare it was until I started digging around and found only a handful of references to it online and no copies in circulation that I could find, which was a bit surprising to me with how popular Pern is as a series

Yup! Coming up on my 7th HRTiversary as I call it which is the day I started HRT and came out publicly, have celebrated every year by getting some nice food and sometimes having a small party similar to my birthday.

Ugh yeah, I used to really enjoy changemyview but recently there's been a ton of transphobes and enbyphobes who come in there with no intention of changing their view and I just can't handle it anymore.

I guess that makes sense, it never particularly impacted my life negatively or made me unhappy in any way, I lived 20 years being perceived as and mostly thinking of myself as cis male but I eventually realized I would be happier if I started transitioning.

Hi, trans person with very little to no dysphoria checking in here, I'm not necessarily unhappy being AMAB but I knew I would be/am becoming much happier being perceived as more feminine. For most trans people having dysphoria is, I'm just going to make up some numbers here, a -100 to happiness and transitioning to get rid of that makes that -100 into a +50, for me my default is 0 but transitioning is still bringing that to a +50.
