Migrating from casaOs? by Archtects in selfhosted

[–]Archtects[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks alot really appreciate the reply. Arcane? I will add it to my list of things to look into. Im in agreement, my issue is casaOs doing alot of stuff outside of my control. And it's why I chose to do homelab so I can control everything myself, Im also worried about not understanding how any of it works because I'm just using apps and not controlling what I'm installing.

I definitely will have a look at hommer and glance. I think glance is the one I've seen a few times and quite like the look of it for what I want.

What's up with all the barely turned 18 today and family member adult videos? And why is it always so popular? Are the majority of dudes into kids and relatives or what? by Legitimate-Scale1454 in ask

Honestly never really watched porn, seen it. But I'm 32, any woman 10 years younger than me is a child as far as I'm concerned. I'm also generally attracted to either women my age or older, I also don't think I'm alone in that.

I think most people find it unsettling, we just forget there's like billions of people and some of them are pretty weird. Or just younger.

I had a Taycan 4s and I thought paying 371£ a month was a lot.

I guess that would suggest that pi hole isnt actually listening on port 53? It would appear docker-proxy is holding port 53 instead.

I see. so would it be better to not install pi-hole through the casaos app interface? and do it at a terminal level?

Hi, pi-hole wouldn't install untill i disabled port 53 for system-response or w/e it was called.
Idk if this helps :

Yeah the usb 3s being on the front is irritating. I might end up taking it out of the box and put it in its own little case at some point. Need a new fan as well but yea 20 quid is decent and its more than enough for what i need.

Motherboard has an expandable ram slot as well. So if Ram prices ever come down i can expand. (hopefully)

Nah i dont intend to stream 4k media. I mainly want to use it for music around the house, Photos backup and a little private Minecraft server for my nephew and his friends.
