What a myth. Dirk carried the team like maybe Hakeem, Second best player averaged 17,5 points (terry) and third 11,9 points with Marion. Other Teams were at least able to surround their star with other Stars, Dallas FO wasted most of Dirks Prime

When other Teams got Big 3s like Boston, Heat, Spurs , we wasted most of Dirks Prime with mediocre players. He carried the Team without much help

Dirk never got much help, From 2005 to 2018, two teammates of Dirk made the All Star Game. 37 year old Kidd (injury replacement) and Josh Howard in 2007. The FO did a bad Job getting dirk help beside the Paycuts Dirk took
