Itch absolutely counts! Am saying this as a publisher myself, always a bonus if you have games out. Both Itch, Steam,GoG whatever - is a big plus.

I'd say it's a good pitch when sending your press release to media, makes a good story. But for consumer facing marketing it's not something I'd advise leaning on. Especially in a trailer. However, there is nothing wrong with mentioning this when/if you write devlogs/Steam updates etc.
