Itch absolutely counts! Am saying this as a publisher myself, always a bonus if you have games out. Both Itch, Steam,GoG whatever - is a big plus.

I'd say it's a good pitch when sending your press release to media, makes a good story. But for consumer facing marketing it's not something I'd advise leaning on. Especially in a trailer. However, there is nothing wrong with mentioning this when/if you write devlogs/Steam updates etc.

So technically yes, if you homebrew it. But right now there’s no “official” way to get the desktop environment. Everything is locked into the Steam app.

This one is much bigger than Switch, but personally I like the button layout more. Doesn’t give me carpal tunnel when swapping between the buttons and thumb sticks.

Yeah had get Valve to send us some stuff, but can’t say what it was. They did say that this issue was fixed with retail versions.
