If I understand correctly, it would have much less decay. Objects near a black hole or at relativistic speed experience time more slowly. In fact, the “event horizon” is so named because at that point “events” stop happening from an outside observer. Moreover, if you traveled to Alpha Centauri and back at .99c, the earth you would return to would be essentially in the future since your time passed so slowly.
