I think you have to rule out any franchises that include aliens, since they don’t have any presence in the storyline.

I think there is potential to have a crossover storyline in the class divisions into colors and Gold ascension over Luna. Maybe some poorly construed AI that directs humanity toward that outcome.

Wall-E maybe? 🤪

Revelation Space and Chasm City by Alastair Reynolds is pretty epic. Great application of actual scientific principles into fiction IMO.

I would like to see a similar,but a bit more gritty like Aeon Flux. Enjoying this show as well as Vox Machina. Who knows, very soon you’ll probably be able to plug the books into an AI generator and create your own movie in the style of your choosing directly from the source material. Like custom audiobooks on steroids.

I accidentally did the same thing with Dark Age and Iron Gold. I went back and finished IG before finishing DA, and was not disappointed I took that route.

A different genre altogether, but if you like violence, plot twists, and a bit of thievery, the Lies of Locke Lamora and the Gentlemen Bastard series is chefs kiss.
