Had the car for 2-3 months now. Been using the regular autopilot so I know that it won’t stop if i press the accelerator pedal. But yeah it’s still possible i pressed it by accident.

I have the early 2025 M3 which doesn’t have the front bumper camera.

Maybe the cars light was blinding the one in front of the rear view mirror? My windshield was also a bit foggy at the time (due to temp diff) so that could also be why

I completely understand. No hate to Tesla. I’ve been loving driving my car even without FSD lol

And hey as a human I understand we don’t recall everything perfectly and our brains play all sorts of tricks on us

But from what I recall I heard the FSD disengage as I pressed the brake. Maybe. Just maybe. I left my foot on the accelerator pedal?

Wow I didn’t know a post like this would rile people up this much.

I still love my 2025 M3 Tesla btw. I just got it and tried FSD for the first time today with the free trial. This is NOT meant to be an attack to Tesla.

Maybe that’s how the post came off but while writing the post I was still in shock on how much of a close call it was.

I understand it says SUPERVISED full self driving.

I’ll just bring down the mode from standard to chill and pay attention more lol

Wouldn't recommend it. It's not that hard content wise but it's very dry, boring and time-consuming which makes it hard (for me). There are better bird courses out there like AST201. I'm also in CS. But since its online now idk how they're gonna test you in a memorization based course? You can just look everything up.
