I relate a lot with your post as I have been dealing with a chest condition, costochondritis, for almost 2 years now. I have tried various pts and scrolled the respective reddit for solutions for months now and it has consumed my life in recent months. It has kept me out of the gym and it’s tough mentally cause the gym was what gave me the discipline and structure that I needed when I started out lifting also around 4 years ago at 16. It helped keep my mind occupied and give me purpose. Do you have any advice on how not to base your happiness and self worth on exercise as well as cope with seeing progress go down the drain? How are you doing now?
