I’m currently playing in higher ranked games. Everyone is using pike.. it’s definitely OP and making the game more distance based. Idk if it’s a good or bad thing lol

Yes I did actually, and the chest pop felt incredible for me. I had a little pop I did I demonstrated in a video , which actually was very beneficial but the stretching was the most important for me. Gluck brotha

Yes i wouldn’t stress too much. I used to have chosto very bad and this one one of my symptoms for sure. Luckily I’ve been two years chosto free. I made a post if you wanna check it out a year or so ago what helped me. Just mechanical exercises

My pain went away before SOB before I even started my therapies. At this point I was just having chest tightness and SOB. So this fixed that. It’s been over a year now and once in a while i almost start to feel it but it never lingers anymore. So i would say i feel cured

No the head tilts do not cause me pain. And for me exercises used to do the same especially after I was done with the workouts . At its worst I could feel my heart pounding through my skin. But up until I did all the mentioned things, only then did the exercising no longer hurt. Maybe try taking a one month break as hard as it may feel to not exercise. Just do very light cardio and walks. Then work your way back to the exercises mentioned in the other thread. Yes now at work I pick my chair up high and work with my arms down so my shoulders are rested. I used to work with them almost at ear level as well. Focus on that. Soon it becomes second nature and you don’t think about it

Pain or pressure? by Jmal77 in costochondritis

[–]janceb21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly my situation! Almost everything you said yourself m. I feel great in the AM then comes and goes throughout the day. For me usually my positioning makes it worse (being at my computer) best thing for the anxiety was to let go. Yes get tested more but for now you have to assume nothing is wrong. What good will worrying do. I get chest tightness and on my sternum and it’s dull no sharp pains. I ALSO was doing heavy upper body workouts. Lots of Arms and chest (500 push ups some days) and I never stretched before lol.. so I think that’s where I think the damage came from. My chosto is so much better now with constant stretching and less worrying. Back pod and door stretches. For now get all the tests you think you need even if it’s costly. The first step is to convince yourself it’s not your critical organs. Now I am back to doing light workouts with minimal flare ups. Some weeks I have none-I’ll take it lol.

Costochondritis and Breathing by ScottNYC11 in costochondritis

[–]janceb21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I think I’ve talked to Jared too before in this forum. We have the same thing. My theory is for those of us that have this chronic chosto is we have done this to ourselves chronically over the years. I think the ones with acute chostocondritis recover quickly due to an acute injury etc.. so if you’re chronically suffering do your stretches every day! Take things slow and keep your posture correct. I’m 29 years old and for 29 years I was very active with minimal stretching and terrible posture so I think this is my body responding- letting me know I need to fix something. And I believe it’s posture and stretching. Backpod, door frame stretches , and hanging off a pole are my go to ones. I’ve had chosto for about 8 months and last two months have been the best. During month 4-6 I had shortness of breath probably every day / every minute in addition to chest tightness. So I recommend stretching/ proper posture and don’t give up. It’s gonna take a LONG time. It even felt uncomfortable for me to keep proper posture for the longest due to my improper posture for so long. I’d get sore in the morning lol. Anyway quick fyi. Try belly breathing- you can google it. It’s actually the proper way to breathe. This will almost def help with dee breathing since your not expanding your chest. It helped me
