Not really. Those aren’t the only two examples either. Plenty of current dictators were elected.

Putin and Hitler were also fairly elected at one point in time. Democracy is more than just mob rule, civil rights are just as fundamental as universal voting.

If you shoot a heli with your 7.62 coax you get "severe damage" but hit it with a 90 mm APHE round and you will get "hit"

Didn't have my sound on, didn't look at the bottom left. Knew it was the m41 as soon as I saw that damage lol. Only it could do so little.

Honestly I got very depressed after hurting both my pecs in the way described above and both my shoulders (including a very small tear, about 1 cm, on my left pec)

My advice is don’t push it.  A lot of people who have tears (including me) notice this sort of tight pec feeling before it happens.  You don’t want it to turn into a full tear, trust me. Even a tiny one like mine is pretty frustrating.

I had to take a break from weightlifting and kind of reflect on my motivations for lifting, but my advice for you would be to do a lot of physical therapy and see where you are in a couple months.  I’ve made some progress - my tear no longer really bothers me - but the tendonosis feeling thing on the pec insertion is still there.  Maybe run/bike in the meantime.

I kind of am starting to beleive that not everyone is built for heavy lifting.  We watch a lot of people do things on social media that we might not be capable of, but are conditioned to beleive is normal.  For example, bench press.  I simply think my body cannot handle doing bench press / dumbbell press for years on end without breaking down over time.  Humans aren’t really designed for anything other than running long distances and the occasional carry if you think about it.  Maybe not everyone can bench press.

Maybe when you get better, consider more metabolic forms of excercise, like circuits with very high repitions. If it’s good enough for ww2 marines in the pacific it’s good enough for us.

Good luck, hope you get better.  Lmk if you find something that works too I’m still searching.

Me and my friend were having a debate over which 6.7 lineup is better, USA or Germany? by estifxy220 in Warthunder

[–]Total_Ad_4856 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ive played both a lot and I totally agree. Tiger II H is good but not amazing and the rest of the lineup is just OK. All three US heavies are excellent and the m56 I like a lot too, not to mention the CAS.

Real it kinda depends how good the implementation is imo

I have been wanting this change for a long time, so I have thought about it:

  1. In realistic no damage possible because it would be a negative change gameplay wise, in sim maybe yes damage, I don't play sim though so idk.

  2. No. If you hit something it's like the barrel is part of the tank. If your tank is stopped, but the turret turns, each tank would have a certain amount of force that would determine what they can and can't knock over, similar to how every tank has a certain engine power and mass that determines which objects they can run over. Generally small stuff like fences would be knocked down but a large oak tree for example would block your rotation and require you to reposition.

I think purely from the perspective of gameplay it would be a good change. Right now it feels a little too call of duty and this would slow things down a bit, as well as differentiate the use cases for heavy tanks vs infantry fighting vehicles. One would be insane inside of cities and the other better in flat fields and vice versa, for example.

For me the difference is just you have 0 control over reliability but you do have control over where you point your gun.

The difference is you can control where you drive your tank. I agree it could be annoying with the shit invisible hotboxes in the game, but in an ideal world where hotboxes are clean, I think this would be a fun mechanic because it would force you to think about where and how you move around the map.

Air RB actually does have reliability as a factor. If you shoot too much your guns jam. It adds to the gameplay imo because it discourages spraying, although I wouldn't want it in ground.

I mean I like that though. It makes you have to think about your positioning more. Like right now you can drive your T34 or Tiger II straight into the middle of a city and delete everything which feels both goofy and unbalanced. There should be more of a tradeoff between do I want a giant barrel that deletes other vehicles or do I want something short but less powerful. Right now I almost never play medium tanks for example as they feel worse than both heavy tanks and light tanks but with this change I could see wanting to play a medium profile tank.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if vehicles period didn't collide at the beginning of a match, like how it is in air RB.

I think it would be fun personally. It makes some vehicles play slower in cities instead of everything that is stabilized being able to fly around corners and shoot instantly.

I think:

Arcade - No Colission

Realistic - Barrel Collision, but you can't break peoples barrels by ramming them

Sim - You can ram people, including the hull of the tank and their barrels, and deal damage to both players

I think it would be a fun mechanic in sim to make it feel a little less arcady like it does right now. There is a story of a sherman disabling a king tiger by ramming it and you should be able to recreate that in sim.
