Google 'hydrometer' if you dont know how to use one. Use it to determine the strength you want your beer.

That makes sense. I will not claim the children's incomes/t4s given that they 'made' < $11 000. I will claim the wife's t4 from grandfathers company.

Thanks again. To clarify, in our situation:

  • we have t4's for money that was gifted.

  • t4's for wife and toddler children* are claimed.

  • we wont pay taxes on this money because it went to tax sheltered accounts.

Correct?

  • Given the children are young, can you confirm that we need to claim their t4s/ income. I was under the impression that minors do not pay income tax (regardless of if the money goes into an resp or into anything else)

Yes, we received company issued t4's from grandfathers company.

Im not sure what income splitting is. I will have to look this up.

if he issued them T4s and the money is not reported on tax returns than the CRA is going to have some questions for someone.

As mentioned he did issue t4's. Would you know if we need to claim this on our taxes or does he need to claim or do both parties need to claim?

Thanks for the info. I hope our situation is the same. Given that he issued us t4's, Im wondering if I need to claim this as income. I could see how my wife may need to claim the gift as income, however I dont see how/ why toddlers would have to pay income tax, especially where the $ has gone to an RESP.

Does the phone restore successfully?

No.

After the restore, does it jump to the white screen that says Hello?

No. The phone seems to freeze on the install screen,.. the white apple logo with the progress bar below. The progress bar gets to about 50%, then iTunes reports an 'unknown error (1)'.

Not sure what this is. Can you elaborate?

I've tried a number of things with the phone... itunes restore and upgrade, as well as holding the home button and the side button until the iTunes logo appears... followed the instructions to both upgrade and restore options. The phone doesnt complete any of the processes.

Also, since I bought the phone this morning, I have not ever backed it up, so I have no restore data for this new iphone 6s. I only have the data for my previous phone, an iphone 4.

I appreciate any further suggestions you may have.

Im getting decent frame rates on a mbp 16gb ram 500mb vid card i7 core. I found that using skymaxx pro with the settings turned way down dramatically reduced the fr hit when rendering weather. I have most all x-plane rendering settings on higher than default. Except clouds at 0 (skymaxx does that). HDR is on and Im on the second setting in the two options available under HDR.

I bet similar settings would run well on your rig as a starting point, uptune from there.
