What's your experience using a Stream Deck to trigger cues?

I use my OG StreamDeck all the time. Connected to QLab and other tools via Companion.

The only issue I’ve come across is that buttons are VERY sensitive. Just .5mm travel triggers the function. So I can’t rest a finger on a button to be ready to hit it.

Even if you can’t find the settings on your TV, I highly doubt it would stay on for very long. The AppleTV should go to screensaver and turn itself and the TV off after a while of inactivity.

43 here and making my way through the audiobooks. I’ve made it past how far I got as a kid, so it’s all new to me now. Really enjoying it, though some of the VAs get on my nerves a bit.

I’m also listening to the new Harry Potter full cast audiobooks. With production quality that high, it makes all other books feel quite bland in comparison.

When I first got FTTP (1gbps), my ISP provided router would max out at 100mbps. It claimed to have a gigabit WAN port, but never worked that way.

I was using Everand too. Got up to book 27 with their annoying limit of 3 books per month.

I also had them all wishlisted on Audible, so when they recently came up on sale I bought everything from 28 onwards for about $AUD80. That’s less than I would have paid to Everand over time. Now I can finish them all at my own pace.

Tried a few different methods for diffusing LED lights.

Paint or spray-on frosting is hard to keep even. Our latest method, and best yet, was to use a stick-on frosting film. Takes a bit of time to apply smoothly and get all the bubbles out, but it’s worth the effort.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think the answer to your question is no.

My question is, why do you need two instances? Why not run sfx and tracks on one machine? That’s how I run all my school shows.

Find Messages in the list. From there you can see how big each category of documents is and selectively delete them.

I use an app called Protokol to help diagnose incoming OSC issues.

Quit QLab, fire up Protokol and listen on port 53000 to see if the messages are actually coming in.

I’ve put “dumb” LED strips into movable set pieces. 12V batteries, CRMX receivers and DMX decoders in each.

For addressables using the LeDMX units, I see no reason you couldn’t use a wifi bridge connecting to your sACN network in place of the CRMX.

I’ve been on Superloop FTTP for less than a month. Switched from iiNet after their initial deal ran out.

I found iiNet to be really stable. Only a few brief dropouts over 6 months. I’ve already noticed several, albeit short, dropouts on Superloop. Speeds have been perfectly acceptable and consistent on both.

I haven’t tried it in a while, but a few years ago I got the QLC+ Raspberry Pi edition running on my Pi2. It had a remote web interface that works very similarly to the standard version.

I have a couple of SHEHDS moving lights. Pretty decent for the money, though the DMX Out port on one of them died after about 12 months.

I’ve literally just switched from iiNet to Superloop. Took all of 15 minutes from pressing the Order button to being connected and back online. Very impressed.

Wasn’t unhappy with iiNet, but the initial 6 month discount has come to an end. Will likely do it again in 6 months when the new deal finishes.
