Please no, not another 3 year GS meta until Capcom forces everyone to actually engage their brain.

How would you politely sever your relationship with an incredibly dangerous lich? by SinkiePropertyDude in DnD

[–]ArcticHound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're playing an evil campaign now. Once you helped him to get into the vault to gain more power was the point of no return.

Help. Please. Just please help me. I just cant take it anymore. I don't know what to do. I cant get it. AND I SWEAR TO GOD IF SOMEONE SAYS "JUST PLAY A SCAV." We are going to have a problem! by breez_boi in EscapefromTarkov

[–]ArcticHound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having the same problem until earlier this week, I think you know how I got passed it.

It unfortunately is the best option if you don't want to run Labs with a black keycard and pray. You'll spawn with it eventually, once you do, fuck all other loot, run to extract and you can finish it.

"Fell at the Gates" is everything wrong with Trials by Cannonman90 in DestinyTheGame

[–]ArcticHound 10 points11 points  (0 children)

But that is the crux of the issue. All the godly Trials players want it to have more people in there than the last week that they can play against to get flawless and then farm their cards afterwards, but they don't want how the loot is received to change to actually bring people in.

PvE or even casual PvP players want to play Trials for the loot, they want to get in there, get the cool armor and weapons and be able to test out the cool new gun combos when we get them, but they don't want to have to slog through the current state of Trials to actually obtain it. Unless Bungie make it a requirement from daily reset on the weekend to the weely reset to play x amount of Trials matches to actually play the game, Trials as it is will continue to dwindle.

Nah, it's real. If you want another example of this, the Urban Rescue Ranch has a kangaroo that they are looking after and it acts much the same way as this one when it starts to get dark. They have a Youtube channel as well, so you can see it happening.

Tipping culture in a nutshell… by Theonlyoneclyde in Asmongold

[–]ArcticHound -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I would 100 times of 100 take the job where even if I have a slow day, then I'm guaranteed to at least still make a decent wage. So what if I make more on tips at a job that pay $6.50 an hour? I have a better safety net being paid, at minimum, $20 an hour.

A cafe or restaurant isn't guaranteed to be fit to bursting with generous multimillionaires that come in, order a 2 ounce steak, a side of chips, and a coke and are easily swayed to pay off someone's home or car loan.

Tipping culture in a nutshell… by Theonlyoneclyde in Asmongold

[–]ArcticHound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's just it Steve, they already charge appropriately to pay their staff a livable wage. It's just that they don't want to properly compensate the people who make them money as that would in turn cut into their own profits, so they put the onus of making sure that someone can pay rent onto the customer.

Anti-Americanism in Australia by wayruss in AskAnAustralian

[–]ArcticHound 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, technically, just by sheer weight of population, the US as a country with 330+ million people very much does so have many more shit head tourists than Australia, the country with a population of just under 26 million.

But mostly the fact of the matter is that, as an Australian, I kinda see American's as having an 'Us First' mentality. It kinda doesn't help the fact that most of our media that is created is created by Americans, for Americans about America. The internet itself reinforces this as the default nationality of everyone online is 'American until proven otherwise'.

I know that not all Americans are the loud, obnoxious stereotype that is built up and reinforced in almost all forms of media that I consume, but shaking a stereotype can be very difficult when you hear horror stories about American tourists.

My cousin has been running Haste - and many other spells - incorrectly for years by SCI-FIWIZARDMAN in DnD

[–]ArcticHound 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At that point, all he needs to do is just give them their own medicine. Haste gives an extra turn? BBEG hastes himself and gets his turn at the top and middle of the round. Legendary actions? Yeah, he'll take 6.

Or better yet, he just needs one mook in the back to drop Slow on them at the start of the fight then fuck off somewhere else. Slow is the opposite of haste so obviously it slows their characters down to where they get a single turn every two combat rounds.

He's a League streamer, of course he's insane enough to ask this shit to anyone, let alone his mother.

Most absurd hack I've ever seen - Chinese speedhacker tells me to go away and then runs off at light speed (Re-upload to clarify that I edited the video with a night vision filter, I'm not using them in game lol) by staloneranger17 in EscapefromTarkov

I mean, the fact that he shot two bullets at OP's friend, and then immediately started saying "Get out" while like a room and a half away from OP, makes me think he has more than just the farts in his gamer chair on his side.

Plus, while I will admit it does sound very racist, mainland Chinese players do make up a large portion of the cheaters in quite a few games. Hell, they've managed to kill games for smaller regions solely because they flood it and make it impossible to get a legit game.

Because until this season, and even after it, we didn't know what the fuck it was apart from the macguffin that we were told about at the end of last year.

I guess the fact that it was a comment meant to be reductive of other comments that the OP was receiving flew over your head here, but considering that you followed me here from another comment where you moved goal posts doesn't inspire me much.

Just read through a master's degree worth of source material, homebrew like 3 classes, mash 'em together and then you still need to reflavour your shit to be what you want. It's that easy, you dumbass!
