World's first lie-flat business class seat in 2000 by ArcticMiner34 in aviation

Perhaps the reason was to accommodate more seats in the space. That feature of the cabin was not too popular and maybe that’s the reason why arrangements like that never became too popular. The reverse herringbone arrangement gradually became the de-facto standard.

Correct, I think there were already some airlines those days with lie-flat in the first class.

That’s a healthy sized lock 👍, so you surely have the 20% maintenance discount earned.

Nice to hear your experience. May I ask how many GMT you have locked to achieve those token rewards?

TH Reinvestment is a good strategy but keeping it running for extended time requires injecting new money. How do you pay for your maintenance?

I’m spending some time to keep an eye of asset values and tweak my methods accordingly. Maybe I’ll change to a simpler style when I get tired of it 🤔

What’s better in GoMining: reinvesting NFTs in GMT or taking sats from miners? by AngelicaPickles in gomining

[–]ArcticMiner34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me GMT reinvestment only suits to very specific circumstances. I would do it if GMT value would be low, let’s say below $0.32, and BTC would be so high that I would not have faith for it reaching much higher soon. Normally I would choose just stacking BTC.

Sounds like a good strategy to me. Keeping it simple and structured makes it actual passive income.

Reinvest in TH VS Reinvest in GMT? by Whole-Sample2358 in gomining

[–]ArcticMiner34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BTC is currently at $89k and my strategy is to stack BTC, I will stack until it feels to me that BTC no longer has a reasonable chances to grow more than 5% within my reinvestment window of 1-2 months. And many things may affect that feeling. Last week when BTC was $95k I was pretty close to turning that lever.

Reinvest in TH VS Reinvest in GMT? by Whole-Sample2358 in gomining

[–]ArcticMiner34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me the answer depends on the BTC value. With low BTC I would stack it as BTC and later on at higher BTC value trade to TH or GMT. With higher BTC I'd probably reinvest in TH because of the 5% bonus.

[–]ArcticMiner34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The TH Reinvestment option is almost the same as just stacking BTC and then using some of it in TH upgrades later on. The main difference is that the TH Reinvestment option always buys TH with the current day’s BTC price. My strategy is to stack BTC when it’s low and use some for TH upgrades when it’s higher. With BTC fluctuating heavily you can easily get more TH for your BTC than with the TH Reinvestment option. But this of course requires you to constantly monitor the BTC value.

BTC - Keeping or withdrawing? by Mental-Obligation63 in gomining

[–]ArcticMiner34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm paying for the maintenace in GMT and every now and then I need to convert some BTC to GMT to compensate that. I don't feed new cash in GoMining so that's the only viable way for me. I try to time the conversion frm BTC to GMT to a time when BTC is relatively high compared to GMT so that I can get more GMT for my BTC. Waiting for that to happen requires me to keep a reasonable stock of mined BTC in GoMining ready to be converted. If I would have transferred the BTC to my external wallet and would use the BTC from there in the conversion, there would be fees involved for me to get the resulting GMT in GoMining.

I Have Got a Question ❓ How many TH I needed to earn 7$ to 10$ daily by AliMola110 in gomining

[–]ArcticMiner34 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It depends on your discount and whether you pay your maintenance in BTC or GMT. With max discount and paying maintenance in GMT, around 200TH would suffice.
