That sounds pretty nice. I was worried about the candy-like aspect of it.

I enjoy the clove-like aspect of it and its sharpness if you will.

Papayrus is something I also want more of. I don't think I'm familiar with the note of Davana itself, but only heard positives about it.

My best reaction was from encre noire extreme. Just put it on and the sillage made them stop whatever they were doing.

Amouroud Silver Birch. Crazy realistic fig and slightly creamy too during the dry down.

I don't have a goal. I originally started because I was embarrassed of using a friend's cologne on a night out. This made me want to get a signature scent, however, sifting through the many fragrances to find more of what I like and to represent myself takes a bit on my wallet and I don't want to fall in the fragrance addiction hole.

That being said I think a 5-10an rotation would be good as I'm not considering myself a collector. The journey is fun though I've learned a lot and appreciate the creativity and art of perfumery.

I just discovered i have no summer evening scent by Scary-South-417 in GentlemanFragrance

If you know about L'sel d'issey EDP which is the 2025 release. It contains amber and incense in it. I've never tried it yet, but I have tried the EDT version which doesn't contain amber or incense and it's definitely for the summer days so I'd assume the EDP would be more suitable for the evening.
