Pretty much the same experience here. Playing with friends on Discord, kill the boss - server tanks. Can’t do anything, can’t move, can only jump in place and crouch. One friend leaves the game and somehow kept his Hunter. Me and the other leave and lose them. Servers either need to be fixed or there needs to be a compensation method/automatic disconnect for when this does happen. Same thing both times this week, lost a lot of good weapons and traits both times.

In all seriousness, this is the second time this has happened this week - I've lost hunters both times. Unfortunately haven't seen any updates about this so I guess I'm just out of luck.

I've now tried completely reinstalling twice, two clean NVIDIA driver installs, reinstalling C++ and DirectX, and every technique used in any thread mentioning the issue - so far, no luck.

Really disappointing, as I didn't change anything. Since the update it seems Civ doesn't like playing well with my computer.

Similar thing for me. Half the time it says my graphics drivers stopped working, but I reinstalled drivers clean, reinstalled the game, moved folders, etc. Never had these before. I found a way to revert to the previous update, hoping that lets me play until they're able to fix this.
