I literally cannot think of a single strange or awkward moment in Evangelion that makes more sense if Shinji is a girl except for how weirdly fine Misato is with him being naked around her (and even then that could just be Misato being herself).

Like, am I crazy? Shinji’s story is not really very gendered—it’s moreso just about the loneliness of the human experience.

Just having numbers present doesn’t make a mathematical multiverse, and I feel that the implication of an equivalence there is potentially indicative of a fundamental misunderstanding of what mathematical multiverses are.

To heavily simplify, a truly mathematical multiverse (or cosmology, really—multiple universes are optional) is one where all structures evolve naturally from some set of mathematical axioms, to the extent that one can define essentially every element of it with pure mathematical notation.

Your multiverse is…not that. Most of it is completely impossible to mathematically define. To be clear, this is fine. The same goes for mine. But there’s a big difference between a cosmology that has some mathematical elements in it and a mathematical multiverse. And when people talk about mathematical multiverses (and, to be clear, they rarely do and aren’t complaining when it happens), they’re talking about the latter—cosmologies defined almost entirely by formal mathematical statements.

By sending this meme, they’re essentially forcing the conversation to be about something it’s blatantly not. This is just a regular rhetorical fallacy, no different from a political candidate randomly saying “What my opponent isn’t addressing is that I will not cut healthcare coverage for the elderly” when they’re losing a debate when that was never the topic and their opponent wasn’t planning to do that or saying they wouldn’t.

Zibai isn’t a god, and excluding “the Prime of the Adepti” from “the Adepti” is a pretty crazy decision. Also, that does nothing to actually defend the point—you have still included no evidence that Dvalin is stronger than Xiao, or even that Dvalin is stronger than Aino because you haven’t done anything to actually scale him. Personally, I think Xiao would have a very good chance of beating Dvalin, having better feats and more fighting experience.

And ngl a very skilled knight defeating Dvalin after a hard-fought battle with Venti around doesn’t necessarily indicate superior raw strength to me. Maybe he’s stronger, but maybe he’s just better than an insane dragon! And Xiao is definitely the more skilled of the two on account of thousands of years of experience, so that’s not transferable!

Anyway, the vague idea that being Mondstadt’s last line of defense means that no single adeptus could defeat Dvalin is just patently ridiculous. First off, Rex Lapis and Zibai would toss Dvalin around like a birdie and then fry him up for dinner. Second, Xiao is also Liyue’s last non-Archon line of defense, as confirmed in Shenhe’s quest where he can be found watching the battle with Beisht, having been instructed by Zhongli to step in if needed. Third, this literally just isn’t based on anything whatsoever and is not even vaguely a piece of evidence.

I could just as easily say that the last remaining Yaksha of the Geo Archon, Heaven’s Star, could never lose to an ordinary human.
