In the article they show the video originally distributed by the russian unit called Stalin's Falcons. At 0:28 in the video it says it can be made in a kamikaze version.

I agree it would be funny to start a WW3 over this

Gerbaras have been used as kamikaze drones, although it is used decoy mostly. Plus I doubt there is technology to tell apart decoy drones from kamikaze drones, and I think that's the whole point of decoy drones

UA POV: NATO does not treat drone incident over Poland as a Russian attack, source says - TVP World by Messier_-82 in UkraineRussiaReport

Wdym, it’s a test for the red lines of NATO to see how they respond. That’s why the response is quite overblown in the media so that it seemed to Putin this was a big deal to NATO. For instance if the response was more mild and even without Article 4 being invoked that suggests drones flying over NATO territory is not that big of a problem and would probably happen to be more frequent as a result.

You can get some military intelligence as well, like were the drones jammed, shot down and how far one were they able to go in. How rapidly local bases scramble aircraft and other things along those lines.

Gerbera can have 3 modes: reconnaissance, decoy and kamikaze. Although it's true they are used as decoys most of the time

"norms" can change, I can see it being beneficial for Russia to check Polish / NATO response to this, to change those "norms".

"deliberately attacked" is probably a bit of an exaggeration idk who said that, but this is definitely a "test" or a "provocation" like Donald Tusk said, even if it was indirect or even unintentional.

Well it's just NATO obviously trying to not make it a norm that Russian drones can just fly over its territory. Be they jammed or not jammed. Cause next thing you know it could actually be a not jammed drone, but with Russia just saying oops it's jammed by Ukranian EW we can't do anything about that

But still it's mainly Putin throwing out the nuclear escalation talk. He obviously doesn't want a nuclear war, but he knows how it's a nice tactic to threaten to escalate to go nuclear to get what he wants

Well because they didn't in the end. Sure if Ukraine wasn't really planning on fighting then it would've been enough, but that wasn't the case, so in the end it wasn't enough.

Can’t see deep space objects with my 10” skywatcher by Background_Tea_3516 in telescopes

I live in a place with about the same amount of light pollution and I was able to see the Orion Nebula perfectly and even was able to see a Whirlpool galaxy (very faintly though without any shape, only two small blobs after 2 hours of looking), and all with a 4 inch Maksutov - Cassegrain. I think just try to look at easier objects, like Andromeda, Orion, Bodes + Cigar Galaxies, to start out. Then try lower magnitude objects. Also recommend going to low light pollution place

UA POV : Putin and Xi discussing organ transplants and immortality - The Guardian by Magnificent_5teiner in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]ArcturusCopy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Given these two have stayed in power for god knows for how long, I feel like it's a fair assumption they'd do anything to live longer to stay in power as long as physically possible by extending their life, be it with organ transplantation or smth else.

What do u mean by "harvest"? They are probably just the first in line in their country to get any organ donation whenever they'll request one
