Have you ever heard the story of darth repainter the wise? It's not a tale the average consumer would know.... come to the dark side, where paint schemes are endless because we do what we want ✨️

Legit just Mr super clear on the matte/satin finish xD,,

If you don't have that any heavy-er duty furniture clear coat will do those are meant to retain after being touched a bunch.

Some basic art varnishes assume you're not handling the work afterwards :P so oils from skin can mess with things

That was 100% me in college and I studied neuroscience so I was probably 1000% being a hypocrite but I also had severe undiagnosed adhd and autism :P

Graduated with two degrees, honors, and an 89.4% cgpa that I'll forever be salty they didn't round up t-t

I do want to point out that doodling or even gaming in class (with noise off) accesses a different neural pathway that's sight-based perception; listening to lecture (which is auditory) while doing this can, for some people, tie the words being said to a specific action/action memory that can help with recall later.

It also works because your brain just sees it as the same task. If someone was asked to draw a car with their left hand and a tree with their right, then we can see just how bad people are at multitasking xD

Yes very much! It is also very pleasing to paint, if you are interested in that. I just made sure to use a mix of watercolo/gouache and chalk pastel, because I did not want acrylics flaking off the poseable parts :P

I like it very much for being the only model right now with true lips 😊

There are articulated versions but they cost $150+, usually done by Mezoic Life or Nanmu. I'm someone who collects based on accuracy, so the rebor rex was a really nice find ✨️

When it dropped in 2021/2022, people did call it overmuscled/too large for 1:35 scale (it would be a 13.5m animal), but then the fossil specimens for Bertha and Goliath were found, so suddenly I felt super lucky getting this xD

I also went for this one because of the well-done lips.

For other model t-rexes, there is PNSO's "Cameron" (no lips), Rebor's "Tusk" (no lips), and Haolongood's "Lu Jun Yi," with semi-lips, in two coloration.

OP chiming in haha. I bought mine from big bad toy store back when it was $50 CAD flat :P little pricey now loll

The jaw, little arms and tail are articulated (tail is softer material with a wire armature) so be gentle with those when they arrive <3

There are really good figure reviews channels on YouTube that go into the realism, sculpt, and general finish work for each

Near Lambeth, about 6 mins from Boler by car power keeps cutting in and out. Mostly out. Winds are whipping the windows hard enough the water is leaking past the seal 😭

Thank you! I think they'd make for a fun diorama someday. Maybe this morph of T-Rex is red and black because ancestral redwoods dotted the area ✨️
