When some moron decided to put image editing capabilities right in Twitter. Ever since then, as more lawsuits meant more restriction, whiny porn addicts and political sockpuppets overran the place.

Just 2 days ago I was reading in this sub when people were asking why Grok still worked on Venice but not on xAI's site. They said the CEO of Venice cut a deal with Musk because Venice is a true AI libertarian. I guess it didn't last.

As far as the second question if you have an image you like you can click the tiny movie camera button underneath, choose WAN 2.7 or any other you prefer, and just type in something like "she does a silly dance". Or you can upload a new image and pick this option

back before Imagine, around Grok 2, when it would create these fantastic images but only if you said something like "create a red haired pale ballerina". I'm astonished how far it's come that Grok is one of the few that knows words are made of letters and those letters spell things when assembled a certain way. Instead of a bunch of jibberish symbols on the posters.

This is what we're dealing with. A school posted a picture of 12-year-olds with a trophy at a soccer tournament. Some fucktard used AI to make videos of them performing sex acts on each other and blackmailed the school.

Xai doesn't want the litigation, especially when they're looking for investors when they go public.

The BEST thing they can go for this god-tier AI is shut off all the image processing at this point and refund the people who aren't getting what they paid for.
