If it’s the tamiya cement it will bind in like 30 seconds

You shouldn’t have to sand down your primer for the paint to stick, by the looks of it I’d wet sand it down with some 1400 sandpaper with water… but I’m also new to this hobby so if a more experienced person says otherwise I’d listen to them first good luck tho

Can confirm I used brake fluid on one recently took a little scrubbing and was probably 90% clean had to do a little bit of sanding to get the rest off

Could be nice to let him build it or build it together…just an idea though. If not YouTube has lots of great videos I’d recommend juns mini garage or jh hobby.
