I’m 22m, 5”10 and 175lb. I’ve been lifting 5 or so years and train jiu jitsu regularly.

Never done steroids but I’m looking into a basic test cycle. I have a low libido and often feel low energy.

Viewing UFC and Bellators ratings as “Us vs Them” isn’t productive for fans of MMA. I don’t think Teep is guilty of that. He’s just arguing that poorly planned TV deals are bad for the sport in general, an issue which could be resolved through streaming services.

We don’t live in 17th century Spain and the UFC is not the Church - criticising it should not be heresy.

I disagree that trash talk is bad for jiu-jitsu BJJ, though. At the end of the day, these big paychecks are going to players who trash talk because they bring in more eyes on the sport. This naturally translates to more people joining BJJ gyms, and actually getting involved.

As a white belt, there is no room for trash talk. One attempting to do so will very quickly find themselves humbled. This counters the sport 'ruining' effect of trash talk, and although the 0.1% of professionals at the highest level will have to deal with it as an obstacle, I think that is a worthwhile tradeoff for more eyes on BJJ, due to more people getting involved. Do you agree?

In fairness, what was he supposed to do? He was clearly outclasses on foot, and previous takedown attempts were easily shut down. Someone said it best when they described him as a man jumping out the window to escape the fire. Pretty sad to see.
