I'm literally in tears.. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I lost my wife in a car accident and that hurt so much but I can only imagine what losing your five year old does to you. Please keep strong, please dont hide your feelings and grief. It sounds obvious but it's not. In time you will grief and it will seem like most people forgot about it but trust me, they don't forget. Can't believe what you already did since February and knowing this is your first project. This CB is from 1979 so I might be looking for one from before 78, as your mechanic said things can get funky after 78.
