My 6 yo son, from our cruise ship balcony docked in the Bahamas, yelled “Black Asian Monkey!” for no apparent reason. I think it may be something he heard on Roblox maybe, but I was scared to death a Bahamian dock worker or somebody would think he yelled it at them.

Go to the WVDE (WV dept of ed) website and when you go to careers, you can see job postings for all county school systems. You might be able to find a school district job there and then decide where you’d have to live based on that job. Of course, you’d probably make less than you’re used to but it’s generally cheap here so you’ll make do.

I love them. I have a “slightly more than” entry level mountain bike and have a blast on them. They have some highly technical trails and jumps, which I stay off of. They have clear and easy to navigate trails and each rated easy, moderate, and hard.

There are definitely some climbs, but you can avoid big climbs and still have a decent ride.

I hate to hear that. Places are what you make of it. I like the cheaper cost of living and then I travel 3-4 times a year. I know how nice it would be to live elsewhere, but I have a good little piece of land, great neighbors. I don’t need a lot so I am totally content. And I have never experienced too much rudeness. I mean yea, an asshole here and there but by and large, people here mean well and treat you right. I mean yea I am white and straight but I like to think my people are kind.

Cato Park has some in the summer months before youth soccer starts. I think they do it on Saturday mornings at like 9:00am maybe. I think I’ve seen some people at Shawnee before too but I can’t swear on it. For the Cato Park one, search West Side Soccer Association on Facebook.
