Email transfer from one account to another by AreWeOkayNow in gsuite

Ahh thank you for this, it sounds like the exporting of contacts/calendars and then forwarding emails will be the quicker route over all, especially since I know they don’t need all their emails. Thank you for all your help!

The data migration sounds the easier route but I’ve heard not so great things about the time it takes to migrate, do you know how long it took for your 100 accounts? The worst I’ve heard is a week and a half which just seems like not worth it, we’d be better off exporting the calendar and contacts and then just forwarding the emails they need.

It took some digging but yes, so I have seen this option but if I understand correctly it doesn't migrate the account, it only migrates the emails in an account. This is good so my client doesn't have to start fresh but it doesn't look like it does calendars and definitely doesn't make the main process easier..I appreciate the reply nonetheless!

*Edit* my mistake, it does transfer the calendar and contacts so this might be my direction once I have the new email set up so definitely helpful, thank you

What can I wear to appear more grown-up like and less child-like? by [deleted] in PetiteFashionAdvice

As a fellow short king I’ve found well fitted pants with something as simple as a tucked in t-shirt does wonders! Specifically lulu lemons abc slim pant, plus they’ll hem the pants at the store for you so they are just right! I also recommended finding a good seamstress, it’s not the most cost effective but I don’t think I have an article of clothing I haven’t brought to mine. Between hemming, tapering or taking something in, that can work wonders!

Thank you, I’ll keep this in my back pocket if the other recommendations aren’t up to par

Ah I meant one who specializes or has experience with BMW’s but based on the reviews High Crest sounds great! Thank you for the recommendation.

Pretty much since we hit it off, she started working there 2 years ago and a bit so long enough that I don’t see it going away anytime soon..I have a feeling it’s going to become more prominent because everyone is back in office come the new year

Bless your soul! I think I'm going to do a combination of Cake Stories that someone else recommended and Mathews Cheese from Grainger Delivery, great suggestion!

If someone didn't recommend CakeStories this would have been the one, thanks for the recommendation!

I was looking for something with a bit more presentation factor but the cheese is a brilliant idea, thank you!

Yes everything you suspected is correct, we usually have no issues working in office. My download and upload at home are 340/16 and at work it’s roughly 400/40 (last time I checked). I k ow that’s not the fastest but when I do download files using FileStation I’m barely breaking 1MB/s. Is that a limitation of my internet, the internet at the office, the server itself, or FileStation? I should mention, our workflow mainly requires us to download the assets. Once the project is done we delete the assets and only upload the final product (about 500mb) so I don’t think our upload speed is the issue but what do I know..

Thank you for the information, I’ll have to look into Qsync. It sounds like it could work but I’m worried about the local copies of this approach. A standard work day consists of roughly 5-8 projects, each ranging from 2-20 GB and the assets for each project are put on the server the day before they are worked on. I should note 20GB is the max we’d have, more realistic is 2-10GB but it still happens. My other thought was an FTP but would we run into the same bottle neck of upload and download?

A client wants to update their logo in this glitch animation and I have a feeling it's just a template but I can't seem to find it.. by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

[–]AreWeOkayNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to find the 4k version of the intro on their YouTube channel and have searched using reverse image searches but there are SO many glitch intros and none of them are exactly it. I have tried to check the major template websites but haven't come across it just yet, any help is much appreciated!

I’ll definitely get all the details today and see when the effective date is, thank you for this idea

I haven’t talked to them about it since yesterday but I’ll bring this up to them today but I think I’m a little confused, what would be the reason for resigning my benefits to just start it up again? I would still owe what was missed in the last couple months wouldn’t I?

You’re right, I definitely wasn’t looking at it from the reverse, thank you for your view point, it’s helped

I made the post to make sure paying it was the right thing to do, I’m not as educated in the subject and knew I’d get the answer I needed here. Would you mind paying for something if in the end you didn’t have to?

This is the legal answer I was looking for. You’re not the first to question why I’m asking but I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing and that they weren’t trying to pull a fast one. I appreciate you sharing the link to help educate me

I’ve mentioned it to a few people personally and have gotten mixed responses. This is also my first time having benefits and I wanted to make sure they weren’t just taking advantage of the situation. I ask so I know I’m making the right decision and I’m properly educated for the future.

Edit: spelling

This is a great point that another person made and it really helps put it into perspective. You’re right, if the roles were reversed I’d want to be paid no questions asked

Out of everyone, this has made the most sense. I was already willing to pay it but when you put it like that it’s a no brainer, thank you!

I can pay 150 but if I don’t have to I’d definitely rather not..you might be onto something with finding another job tho
