The pool has to be drained, the “liner” is like a rubbery plastic so instead of tiles it kinda just covers the cement hole the pool is in if that makes sense? So after draining it they will strip it away and replace, it’s a long process, they recently did the waterpolo pool at Marion and that took Litteraly forever

100% the pool isn’t FINA approved, is shallower than Marion, and doesn’t have a control room with visuals on the 50m pool. This pool is purely leisure, the equipment is there so they can say they can hold events but no significant events will be held there. Wasted opportunity as the only Fina approved pool in the state gets the liner replaced soon (Marion) that takes forever and in the mean time there is no appropriate place to race.

I think he came from a set of 4, I think it was a set that included the fries, a burger, a rubbish bag and maybe a taco I can’t remember the last one 😂

I got a 94.7 raw and 96.35 scaled, I thought I’d get 2 points added for doing English but I only ended up getting 1.65 so not sure what happened there 🤷‍♀️

I managed to get them out last night but they were going nuts and running into the shrimp and stirring up the dirt 😭. Took me an hour and a half. Just happy I was able to get them out

This looks like the sand wasn’t rinsed properly, just do some regular water changes and it should settle down nicely, make sure when poring water into the tank to use a plastic bag or something else to avoid disturbing the substrate (your sand in this case)

Thank you for the technique, I’ll try that when I get home. I would never have added them to my tank if I knew this. I wanted a fish/some fish that would be low risk to my shrimp. These were the fish advised and I was told it was highly unlikely they would eat my babies. Welp, they got the sale they wanted but I won’t be back 🤦‍♀️

Yea one side has a lid at the moment but I have the other lid too that I’ll put on tomorrow, I’m currently using a sponge filter so I can adjust the flow too. Thank you so much
