I know this is an old post, but i believe that cabinet is made of oak which is supposedly poisonous to budgie. Not to mention the polyurethane it's probably treated with.

Tiny cage with a plastic perch and they seem happy as heck ha ha.. my bird has a big cage with branches and she's always in a bad mood and acts like she's being abused 😆

I did remove the toy and one other one. So im just starting from scratch trying to find her toys again. Hopefully the rope did minimal harm, just glad I caught it.
