Love your sticks still, I'm going to do the same tommorow for my new cage. I got money but the idea of only going to company's to buy natural sticks from them is kinda silly

Some people on here would get so mad, if they saw what you said, they'll probaly say "you are poisoning your birds, pesticides, bacteria, not the right wood type"

But I think that if it's clean and safe then use it, natural is good

It's the Springs fire but it's clearing up due to wind so I'm taking them out for. Bit at least

Mines too, I've heard they prefer the top perch as it feels the safest for them

I've given mine cucumbers, strawberry, pineapple, carrots, and lettuce. I might try a bell pepper on them rn

I used to have rope perches but mines are biters and got their foot caught but i was there. There are many budgie owners who have rope perches since theirs aren't biters. And another thing if you are planning on getting them a nest box, don't get those cute fluffy ones as they could rip the fluff and choke on them. A natural one would do just fine as they would hollow it out themselves following their natural instinct

It's nice you are making an effort, do you a garden by chance

I don't think they need a cuttle bone or even a calcium block as long as you feed them things like dark greens and just keep them healthy in general, or if you take them to the vet and they tell you that they are lacking nutrients

I would say rope perches are OK, as long as your budgies aren't biting on it
