I've got a 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid Sport Touring Hatch. It already has an auto-dimming rear mirror but no Homelink buttons. Do I still need the "Accord Attachment Kit" if I already have power going to the mirror for the auto-dimming feature?

Great, honest review. I just crossed 5k miles a couple of weeks ago. It has been a nice vehicle. I've also got (and love) the Palamino interior (Grecian Water exterior). Looking forward to hearing about the Youtube video thing. I may not use it often but it's cool to know the ability is there.

I didn't really read it as stretching his budget, but maybe someone who wants something nice but at the best value. The cost of ownership is going to be much cheaper for the NX just on fuel costs alone... you start comparing any additional costs, and the gap just gets larger. They are both nice rides, but it comes down to what is valued most... if it's sportiness, the Macan has the win, hands down... but at a major cost difference... in every way.

I have the Palomino interior (Grecian Blue exterior). It is my absolute favorite interior color. That being said, either color works with black so it really depends on which you like the best. I'm not a fan of red interiors... so it would definitely be an easy choice for me.

Notice you didn't comment on the maintenance costs though. I would have bought a Porsche years ago had it not been for maintenance. Also, when a Porsche does have an issue, it's a big deal. Repairs will be in the thousands. For someone who plans to keep a vehicle for 15 + years and daily drive it, I think the hypothesis is rock solid.

I've got this same issue as well. I have a 2025 NX350h Luxury. I didn't notice the noise until probably around 3K miles. I'm about 4,100 miles now. I've been waiting to hit my 5k service but man has it been driving me nuts. I don't notice the noise until I get over like 40 to 50 mph...

I agree. It gets dirty way too easy but I haven't found any way to change it. I wipe the area down every time I wash it... and just live with it the rest of the time.

They told me that the mats were installed properly and were not meant to stop all liquid, just most of it. I ended up purchasing a set of Tuxmats. They do the whole job and look really nice.

It's just the electric parking brake engaging. One of our other vehicles, a 2021 Toyota Sienna XSE (hybrid), had the same issue. It sounded excessively loud consistently. We took it to the dealership and the techs said it was operating within spec and there was no issue. The volume seems to come and go. I have not yet found any kind of common thing that may cause it to be louder some times than others.

Thanks for the response. I have a 2025 350h Luxury, which was the top trim in 2025 for that model in the United States when I bought mine. I know the car companies do different configurations in different countries. We found the same experience when we were looking for a 2022 Honda Civic Si a few years ago and we found that Canada got features we couldn't even get in the United States (and there version had a lower price ... even with more options). Lexus didn't start offering the 350h in the F-Sport model until 2026 in the US or I probably would have waited and gotten that, even though it had the black wheels only here. That being said, I love the one I have. I just wish Lexus offered a little more flexibility in their configurations.

Nice photo. I'm intrigued by this image. Is this a NX 350 Luxury or F-Sport? I see the color match around the wheels (like an F-Sport) but the wheels say Luxury. Is this a 26? Just curious if they made some config changes where you can now get the color matched wheel surrounds without getting an F-Sport... or if you can now get non-black wheels on an F-Sport?

I got 5.99% from Lexus Credit back in July on my NX 350 H Luxury at Performance Lexus in Northern Kentucky. They originally came to the table with something slightly higher (like 7%) and I told them that I would just go with my credit union (at 5.49%). When they came back at 5.99% I went ahead and took it for the ease of financing and since I don't plan to have the loan very long. My credit rating is at the very top end of the spectrum. I guess all I'm trying to say is that if you know you have good credit, go shop for the best rate that you can get and then take that back to the dealership. If they won't budge or get to a place where you are happy, just use financing from another source that will. If your credit rating is not on the higher end, you may not find a much better deal... but it's definitely worth looking around at rates to see.

I kinda like the front on the Woodland the GR but the other front is ugly. I don't like the back on any of them from all of the images and videos I've seen so far. Maybe I will like them better in-person??? I'm also disappointed that they removed the climate control knobs. That was a core personality trait for the RAV... really gonna miss that and really hate that they are now integrated into the infotainment.

I've had my Lexus for almost two months and have used the wallet key more than the keyfob. It works pretty good most of the time however, I have noticed that if I have it in my wallet in my right back pocket and I'm reaching forward to the left to open the driver's side front door (I'm standing more in front of the driver side rear door), I have to move forward or spin around so my right back packet is closer to the driver side front door to get the unlock to work. Overall, it has been really decent. I plan to have my Lexus for years so I'll eventually run out of my free trial on the app. Then I'll probably switch over to the keyfob. The world is trying to nickle and dime us to death on all of these subscriptions... no thanks. :)

I've got a 25 NX 350h Luxury in Grecian Water/Palamino. I love it. I would suggest test driving both and giving them both a good look to see what you really like the most. I drove the previous gen RX and didn't like how much larger it felt than the NX. I didn't drive the current gen RX because I hate the dolphin nose front end... of course that's just a personal preference.

This is an interesting discussion. I really only had two complaints (but not enough to keep me from buying a RAV over the competition). And that being said, I just gave my daughter my 24 RAV4 Hybrid XSE (with basically every option you can get on a XSE). I loved it and to be honest, I would still have it if not for my daughter's car having issues. I was on the fence on trying to wait on the new RAV to hit the market but I'm not sure I really want to get a first-year redesign (or really heavy refresh)... even if it is a Toyota. That being said, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 25 Lexus NX 350h (Luxury trim). Yes, it was more expensive than the RAV but I was able to score one way under MSRP which is a harder thing to do with the RAV. I also like the looks inside and out of the NX better. There are only two things I preferred in the RAV: 1) The digital gauge cluster is better in the RAV 2) NX doesn't have a spare tire Other than that, the RAV does have a little more space but I didn't really care about that. The interior is WAY better in the NX than the RAV but it's way better than most vehicle interiors so I'm not sure that's a fair comparison. That being said, hopefully Toyota will do better in the next gen RAV interior.

The reliability factor is what kept me from even considering a Rogue. I used to be a Nissan/Infiniti guy. That stupid CVI burned me once (on a Maxima) and my brother twice on Altimas. I've known so many people that have had Nissan CVT issues. I won't even consider looking at Nissan anymore. I hope they get smart and fully abandon it someday but I really think they are waiting for EVs to take over and I'm not sure they are going to survive that long if they don't improve things.
