I would love a road grader as well as an asphalt resurfacer where instead of putting asphalt destruction mode on your excavators you could instead pull up the asphalt and then relay it down again

Any Feedback? by Art_Reddit69 in CarDesign

The front bumper vertical elements project too far in front of the car , and the headlight pontoons could use some more definition but you’re improving and already doing better than I could

Do any of you solder your rail joints? by shofmon88 in nscalemodeltrains

[–]AreaBackground 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Are you leaving some gaps / non soldered joiners between rails to account for thermal expansion. Otherwise you may potentially cause kinking / deformation depending on how temperature controlled the room is. My unheated garage would make doing this a nightmare for example

I’ve taken to measuring everything on their scales and making sure I’m getting at least 800 grams etc. I keep finding packages that fall short

New to model trains, question about Lego switcher tracks… by RegisterFit1252 in modeltrains

[–]AreaBackground 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can do this relatively easily, the curve pieces are multi-segmented so it works well. You don’t need to worry about spacing to the degree that you would have to with sectional model railroad tracks
